While the clock keeps ticking at the draw of each breath
My kingdom come dreaming of darkness’ death
Sure, it’s a foolish dream that I pursue
But if I just believe that one day it could be true…

While the clock keeps ticking with every beat
I drift in to fantasy whilst lying in my seat
I foresaw this scenario, so why should I fight?
I would rather fall with a smile than to go into flight

While the clock keeps ticking I hear my men fall
Even brave heroes could not prevail with a chance so small
I failed in my duties and this is my trial
But have I really deserved a destiny so vile?

Does it really matter, there’s nothing left to save…
I wish someone could praise the people and the lives they gave
They died for me, their foolish old king
The clock strikes thirteen, now all the bells will ring

The end is near, no time for regrets
If a man is foolish then this is what he gets
Come on, you cowards, I’ll take you all to hell!
I’m the last one alive, you think I’ll just say farewell?!!
