~ The Journey II ~

We’ve lived for so long
We’ve been both right and wrong
We’ve travelled and come so far
We’ve been there but don’t know who we are

We started with two guardians
In times of need they were a good audience
We were so happy with them
And at times only they could condemn

But now we’re sad, for they are taken away
Now we’ve got to go, there’s no time to stay
We don’t want to move, let us mourn for a while
There’s emptiness, nothing left with to reconcile

We know we’re alone, we know we want to shed tears
We keep on moving and thinking, and so pass the years
We know we’re getting tired, but ain’t gettin’ off this train
We’re getting stronger though, so many demons we’ve slain

It’s us against the world, so don’t stop us now
The train’s goin’ pretty fast, it’s outta control now
We’re getting kind of scared; we don’t know what to do
If we run off track, we don’t know where to go to!

Well now we’ve derailed and are very confused
What if we get caught by the evil and get used!?
We’ve got to keep moving and fear the bad people
One day we’ll grow even stronger and rise like a steeple

But after we’ve been around
We can be quite merry about the things we found
It’s not us against the world, the world is with us
Now we can be happy again and forget all this fuss…
