Absurdity

Any critique would be nice on flow/content/anything.

If a will o' the wisp
were to speak with a lisp,
would it make any sense to you?

Or would a haze in your sight,
talking, fill you with fright,
and send your heart fleeting in two?

Would you be afraid
at the sight of a jade
figurine nought but singing a song?

Would you be more content;
to be delerium sent;
to sing to yourself all night long?

Now all these to me
are not things I see
every day out on my front lawn.

But I'll tell you right now
that I see a cow
dancing the jitterbug with a young fawn.

Can you only imagine
a horse in a wagon
whipping a human to pull it along?

Or does this seem absurd
like a man-eating bird,
or does that to you just seem wrong?

There's no reason to me
why all this should be
considered to be only folly.

So what about you;
do you agree with me, too,
or do you need a ride on my trolley?

I think I have proved,
though you do not seem moved,
that all in our minds can we see.

And if you don't concur,
I must tell you, sir;
that you look just crazy to me.
