All Because of Me

I wrote this two years ago. Decided I'd pull it back up and post it here.

Why can't they see what's happened
In this beautiful world of mine?
It first began with nothingness, but
I gave it evergreens, oaks, and pines.
Then along came the air to breathe
For the little fish in the sea.
And then the animals, and then the man
All because of me.
Then along came that fire,
Which sparked the human mind,
And now the peace that everyone seeks
Is the hardest thing to find.
The world was so much safer
with just the fish in the sea;
They had respect for each other, but
More importantly, they had it for me.
I gave the man the right to reason.
I gave man the right to think.
But now they seem to doubt me.
I'm at Armageddon's brink.
Then I had to give man his fire;
I had to spark his mind.
Let man-kind search universe wide.
Peace, they will not find.
Jews, Christians, Muslims;
They are all the same to me.
But when they see each other,
It's Hell on Earth to be.
They don't seem to realize
that they're here because of me.
I put man here, I can take him out
Haters, killers, rapists alike,
My world can do without.

I really loved this poem. I see lots of depth an perscission. I can tell you wrote it quite easily, it seems to flow very well. My favorite part of the poem was

That was beautiful. Just stunning.
