These dreams seem real
Coming and going
Appearing and fading
They seem like a memory

The ones I remember all seem the same
All of them remind me of her
The girl that I fell in love with
The only reason my heart’s been shattered

Why do these dreams come and go?
I could’ve sworn I was over her
I guess the heart overpowers the mind
A secret kept hidden from my own self

I wonder if they come from my memory
Or perhaps I really did give her a part of me
It makes wonder if she knows
If she cares, if it shows

Secrets kept from me
Are they revealed within my dreams?
Truths become know, but quickly lost
Only to resurface at a cost

Depression and fear are the result
Will these things come and go as an adult
I guess I still miss that one girl
Thanks to my dreams I think about her more

Will these dreams ever fade
Along with my memories of her?
Will she purely cease to exist within me?
What does it all mean?
