Well, I even missed closing out the deadline due to some sleep, and we still didn't get any more entries. I guess these kinds of contests just won't work on this site. Sorry to everyone who entered. I'll see what I can do about getting you guys something for your work.

No, I think these contests will work, we should just have a set number of slots for contestants, and make sure that the contestants don't have anything else to do. Perhaps they have lives or something outside of TFF.

No, I know. I guess we could try it again with a theme that they choose. And why not limit slots to...8? 9? And judges to two or three?

I think we should add a couple days... and judge those entries that were actually received.... People worked hard on these stories and should get some positive recognition for their work....

I guess we'll extend the deadline until the end of the month. And yeah, we should still judge/rank the stories that were submitted.

Alright, this is ridiculous. The contest is over. Not only did only four people even submit stories, but the judges didn't even take the time to judge each story. I understand that people are busy and have lives, but seriously; it's a short story that shouldn't take more than a weekend to write and more than 20 minutes to judge.

For the people that did submit their stories, the rankings went as follows

Inferno Mage, you rocked it. Everyone else's scores were really close to each other, considering I was the only one that even judged them. Congrats to everyone who submitted their stories. Better luck next time. Maybe I'll try this again if people can actually get their stories in.
