Well the fifth episode in the Inner Man series is now up. I am actually quite pleased with the way this one turned out. I was pretty excited about writing this episode to begin with since it was returning to drama, something I am more accustom to. I definitely have been having fun trying out comedy. It is new challenge for me, and I do love a good challenge. I think this episode balances the comedy and drama nicely to the way that I think the show in general will be balanced. I definitely think that this episode will be one that sort of sets the mold for the rest of the episodes to follow.

As usual expect episode six to appear in two weeks time. Probably a little delayed, but since I am back to a weekend writing schedule I think it will be easier to write since I managed this one in two sitting sessions. Hard to do that when you only have a few hours during the week.

Well please let me know what you think of this episode.

With the sixth episode in progress, I need to get you all ready for the thrilling conclusion to the two part episode. It is over half finished about now, so you should be expecting it to be up sometime tonight. So without further ado.

"Chiko has been taken hostage along with the rest of the school. Now with the scarred man drawing closer to the school and police outside what will happen to Chiko. Can I make it in time to rescue Chiko and will his identity remain a secret? You've been quiet Chiko."

"Its Kohana!"

"Huh?"

"I'm not Chiko! I'm Kohana."

"Umm, right. It is all confusing to me. Don't miss the next episode of The Inner Man Charade."

"Mashiro, please save me!"

"That is a first."

"Don't miss it, I might get a chance to strangle that scarred man!"

"I doubt that, you'll be hiding in the corner...argh! Not the shin again!"

The new episode is up now and posted. I was fairly pleased with how everything worked out. I definitely enjoyed the actions scenes and looking forward to beginning to expand on them in future episodes as the action will escalate. I hope you enjoy reading it. Let me know what you think.

And I actually managed to get this one out on time. I am excited about that. It is hard with everything going on to keep a time table sometimes. Well I hope you enjoy it.

If I may, I would like to tell you have an amazing talent for writing. This is some of the best stuff that I have read for the genre. I have to give you some mad props.

Thanks, it is always encouraging to hear that people are enjoying my writing. I will be curious to know what people think once the entire 26 episodes play out. I wonder you guys will want more or just leave it off where it is. But right now, definitely I am starting to build into the main story arc.

The next episode will be a lot less serious.

Well I'm one day behind on my deadline, you can thank Xenosaga III for that. But I am also thankful that today is Labor Day. Means no work and it is my extended Sunday, so I can write all day. Well I cannot say for certain if I will finish it today or not, but I am going to try. But definitely episode seven is in the process right now, coming up to the half way mark. A far less serious episode, especially after the last two, you could probably use something a little more light hearted. Well then, the preview for episode seven.

"Things are definitely getting interesting now aren't they Chiko?"

"I don't know if interesting is the right word."

"Well don't worry you get to take the day off and go on a field trip."

"How exciting, where to?"

"Some positively terrifying shrine."

"That's nice..."

"You can show a little more enthusiasm you know."

Chiko yawns. "Oh my, almost slept through the ending. Don't miss the next episode of The Inner Man, Ghost."

"How will Chiko kick something that doesn't exist?"

"Hey!"

"Awake now huh?"

"Don't miss it, watch me kick a ghost in the shins."

"Is that even possible? Doesn't matter, means I'm safe..."

Well I got it up tonight which was a little bit surprising for me. I am glad that I managed to finish it and not put it off for another day. Being only one day behind is not too bad. All things considers, I've been far worse off. This episode probably will feel a little shorter than the others and definitely is. But I think it is an enjoyable episode considering I did not know what I was going to be writing today when I started. I'm just thankful that I came up with an idea in an instant of starting it.

Well I hope you enjoy it, definitely should have some funny moments. I felt that the punchline might have come a little late and been drawn out. But there was enough amusing sidelines that came along that I think it manages to be successful and not feel that drawn out.

I have begun the work on eighth episode, though not at the halfway point just yet, I think this will be a very different feeling episode from the others. It is just something that I am feeling from these first few pages. While there have been some funny moments, I think this might be the most amusing right now. It is going to be a little more outrageous with things than most of the previous episodes. I'm going to start throwing away the physical reality book that says things are too unrealistic to happen, because its an anime, anything can happen especially the unrealistic things. I'm probably going to still keep in the norm, but expect some changes.

Preview for the next episode :

"So many things have been happening, I think we need to talk."

"This is sudden. Why do we need to talk?"

"Well we need to talk about your grades."

"What about them? School is pretty boring, but it's easy."

"Yes, your grades are too good."

"Huh? Why is that a problem?"

"You need to start doing worse."

"That doesn't make any sense."

"Well you are making all of the other students look bad."

"I don't see how. Hey you making me mess the preview. Next episode of The Inner Man, Sports! Huh? Sports, but we were talking about grades. How are those two connected?"

"Good grade means you can play sports."

"What does that have to do with the episode? I'm going to kick some sense into you!"

"Hey get away from me!"

"Don't miss it, watch me kick everyone's butt in soccer! Teehee!"

"You do know that its a team sport?"

Well I finished writing the episode. It turned out pretty interestingly I think. It was fun writing it. There were couple things that I added that I had not originally had planned. But I think it provides some good humor that I will be able to play off of in future episodes. There is a fair amount of just random things that happen, though it is not a completely random episode. I hope you enjoy it.

I was not sure if I was going to be able to write this today or even this week. I'm a little distracted by having gotten my new game, Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. But here I am, I am actually holding myself back from the urge to play all day to doing what I need to do, which is write. I have been waiting for this episode for a while. This episode is back to the drama part, and very serious episode. It is a character building episode as well as important in the plot. But anyway, we are getting closer to the real heavy things are to come in the series. Almost to the halfway point, and there are going to be fewer all comedy episodes and more serious ones coming up. Plus I'm hoping to give Chiko more time with his body, which until this point as being a little bit of a side note. What I'm refering to is the enhanced part, not the female part. So he will get to see some action scenes in the coming episodes. All very exciting stuff.

I actually only have one page written at this point, but I basically already had a lot of this episode planned out to begin with, which is why I am able to give a preview for the next episode so early in the process.

"You ready to hear about my story? I know you are all excited to hear about the life of Mashiro. Mashiro the extraordinaire, smooth talker, fast operator, jack-of-all-trades, all around-"

"Perverted ladies man."

"Just what we need, the villians already monologue enough and now my side kick has to monologue too?"

"Who's a side kick? I'm the one that is rescuing you!"

"Yeah, yeah. The show is still all about me. So there."

"Hey, I'm suppose to say that!"

Well it is up, though a little late for me. Quite tired I am, but I am definitely pleased with the way the episode turned out. Makes me excited to read the next episode, I mean write. Reading and writing is all the same to me, but anyway. As I said this is serious episode, very serious dramatic episode that will help to reveal a couple of mysteries while creating plenty of new ones. I hope you enjoy this episode, this might be my favorite one yet. Though the next one will probably be my favorite as well. I imagine you will know why once you read it.

Well I was really distracted today for some reason and could not finish the episode like I had hoped. I still have a fair bit to finish, but it will be ready by tomorrow, provided that I do not fall asleep mysteriously. But anyway, I will leave you a preview for the conclusion on this coming episode, one that should be fun to read.

"Crimson, it is such a fine color. How it pours so finely as it is released. Ah, the smell of iron, the metallic taste across the lips. It is a beautiful, wonderious-"

"Er, y-you're creeping me out Mashiro. What happened to you?"

"Ah, such young child."

"Hey, c-cut it out."

"Tell me, child have you had the pleasure of knowing such a fine elixir?"

"You're acting too wierd, what happened to you, Mashiro? Did someone hit you over the head."

"Ow! Gah! Stop kicking me already!"

"Finally, normal. Creepy Mashiro is gone."

"Huh?!"

"Hey! You're making me forget about the preview. The next episode of The Inner Man, Angel. Can Mashiro stop being creepy long enough to save me?"

"Creepy? Argh! Quit that already!"

"He won't be the only one I kick in the next episode. Don't miss it. Tee hee!"

Well I'm really sorry about the delay on getting this finished. A lot of bad things all lined up together that really put me behind. Number one problem being that I fell asleep almost every single day, so it is rather hard to work when you are asleep. The other parts I was not feeling great and could not concentrate on getting the writing finished.

Now almost two weeks later, and like two days before I have to write another episode I have this one finished. One of the things that I was having issues with while writing was trying to keep each of the people that Mashiro fights original and unique. Mashiro already have a fairly unique method of fighting, among other talents. So I wanted to try to do that for the others, sady they ended up a little traditional. But I think the fights were still good and solid. If the enemies were not completely original, at least the fights themselves felt original and different. A lot of that is thanks to Mashiro unique fighting style.

Well this is definitely my favorite episode as I figured, especially with the ending. Even I was not planning on that happening. Which makes me happy, so I hope that you enjoy it. If all goes well there will be another one Sunday. Yeah ><
