I don't think so. For starters it really is directed towards both kids and older players, and making it teen could potentially cut off the majority of the buyers, and a fair bit of money would be lost.

That said, I think it would be interesting to see a darker side of the storyline or some more suggestive themes added into it. I'd like to see it portrayed as a more adult game. I'd definitely play it, and I'm sure alot of other curious people would aswell.

I still don't think they will, though. They will most likely stick with what they've been doing, and that's fine with me. I love Kingdom Hearts.

to say the truth i think kh would beifit from a T rating but not if they go to far with the new rating cus it is still for little kids. I have rented kh 2 but never got around to playing it(i belive also rented kh1 and played it a little) but it was just so kiddy to me tht i just dont care if sqaure made or if it has final fantasy charecters in it. but by changing the content slightly it could apeal to guys like me more.

The kiddy stylings were actually appealing to me. And a simple storyline once in a while actually makes me relax. And playing in a disney world whilst high is like no other experience I've ever felt. It's magical to say the least. I wouldn't mind seeing more of the ol' FF in the games, but I still think they're great anyway.

As for the multiple dvds and such for more content, imagine if the series was sent to a newer console with higher capacity medium......

That would be sweetness itself. I looked at the file sizes in KH2, and I'd say they were pushing it on limits there even......

God knows how they added stuff in KH2: Final Mix +.....

I agree. I quite like the disney aspect, it wouldn't be KH without it. I would like to see a bit more FF characters though, but i don't really mind as i loved all of the games!

the storyline is great the way it is, the only thing i think they should change to teen rating is the language, because that kiddy stuff bugs me but dont get me wrong KH is still my fav game series

That's what you meant? I want it to be turned T, but I though you meant what the current rating should be.

The action and stories wouldn't have to be so childish and sweet. That's why we all love FF also. KH would have more possibilities if it were teen. The younger audience could still handle it. Teen isn't bad at all (I hear no cursing and don't really catch any bad themes myself), so they wouldn't suffer any bad influencing.

Can Square Enix really change Disney's mind though? Disney has always been so family friendly...

Personally I think that KH2 should have a T rating simply b/c of the fact that much of what u do invloves u going to places such as the Underworld and all of the enemies that u fight like Cerberus.

I quit playing KH2 because I found it too chilidish. So a teen version would be welcome yeah. And perhaps a little less disney, I wouldn't mind either..
But in another thread I've read more people like KH2 better.
So perhaps I should give it another try, I did quit the game a bit too early perhaps..

i found that the further i played into KH2 that the darker the story got. as for a teen game naa its fine at the rating it is, makes for fun the whole family can enjoy.i mean really what else do you exspect from a DISNEY game?

The storyline is too nice and nothing can ever go wrong like. They need it so that older people can actually listen to the storyline without dying.

Personally, I would rather KH stay as it is now, rather than get a teen rating. I've loved the series so far, and would not like to see it change. The more kid-orientated stuff sets it apart from Square-Enix's other RPGs.

That's a good point; Kingdom Hearts is pretty unique compared to the others. I guess that's why they made it rated E. Or maybe just to attract more customers?

T rating wouldn't be that bad -_-" i know a bunch of little kids who play games and watch movies that they shouldn't, kinda funny but putting a game to T wouldn't make them loose that much of an audience.

- I my self think there should be a Persona 4 kinda way of mix to it, like you can choose what to say to others and that determines how they work with you and such? make the game a bit more complex or something! would be nice. Sure i like the simplicity of the game just pointing to the enemy and ordering their death but i also enjoy a good story, like for instance: You choices could determine whether you want to join the heartless and conquer the world or you save the world, or even make some sort of bitter sweet ending? im also tired of their only being 2 sides to the game. Black or White? bull crap! i see the world in shades of gray!

- by bitter sweet i mean like you do bad choics that in the end make a good ending or something. Like making a enemy become your ally through some sort of evil thing, or even a good thing i guess.
