Well, considering I just got into it, seeing Cid kinda made me yearn for the good old days of FFVII with Cid dropping a "Goddamnit, drink your GODDAMN TEA! SHERA! GIMME A BLOWJOB!" But, alas, it's a Disney game. While it would be entertaining, it probably wouldn't have gained the massive popularity it's enjoyed if it had swearing or blood. Want that stuff? Mortal Kombat's your game.

Also, I guarantee you the first time a Square employee showed a Disney guy FFVII after KH was released he probably fainted.

The whole idea about cursing sounds pretty stupid to me. Seriously why make characters cursing? Kingdom Hearts is a game for people at the age of 3+. Could you imaging a 4 year old telling his mother "Oh, mommy this little duck said ****". And also why ruin Disney' characters? I believe that the next games of the series mustn't add that. If they really want to make the game more interesting then they should make it more violent and maybe taugher with more difficult battles. But there is a choice at the begining (at least in KHI), whether you want hard or medium fights.

Cussing in KH? That will not happen. Period.

Kindom Hearts 2 was suppose to be a mix of Disney movies and Final Fantasy. Disney movies are meant for younger audiences and so was KH. If you dont like it then you should have bought something with a more mature nature. What some of you are saying is just like lets put themes of love and friendship in the next Grand Theft Auto.

I do think that with time the KH series will mature, but that doesnt mean it will turn into a violent, profain game.

It's just immature to have it in and very corny i mean come on the game is supposed to be about bringing the old Disney movies you loved and remembered as a child and clashing it with FF.

Anyway, I can see why lots of people would like to see a more mature KH (Hell, I wouldn't mind), but Disney just isn't the place to go for when you want gratuitous swearing and violence

(well, they DO own Pulp Fiction, but that's a different story).

Well, then there isnt much to discuss here then. You could answer that question in one single post and thats why people are trying to expand the topic so there is more to talk about. We arent allowed to make another thread that has to do with cussing in KH now that you made one so we might as well talk about every subject linked to your topic that you created.

Does it matter? Ok just change the age to 10 and what do you think about a 10 year old going up to his mother and saying, "In this game they said ****." It makes no difference what-so-ever. Ecxept it would probably be worse with a 10 year old cause a 3 year old would just recognize it as just another word. The 10 year old has more of a chance of understanding the mature langauge and repeating it.

It will be terrible if the kingdom hearts game series used profanity. Just think what will happen to Disney... loads and loads of hate mail thats what. I wouldn't want to ruin what Walt Disney created, would you? (not counting the stuff he didn't make)

Yeah, I agree with SuperSabin. I mean, Disney is for kids. Which pretty much means no cursing. I mean, I guess cursing would be more suitable in certain situations but it's a kids game. E10+. I dunno about you but when I was 10 i was still in elementary school. I like KH the way it is, even if some lines are corny. but think about it... putting cursing in it would make it cornier. Donald wouldn't even be able to spit out the f-bomb. It would just sound like a squeak. >.>...

Or how about Ariel? Singing? "Look at this sh*t~! Isn't it neat~?"

If Kingdom Hearts started using curse words, lets just say the game wouldn't be rated as E-For everyone anymore. And does it really mater if they use curse words or not, I'm still planning to buy the next Kingdom Hearts game anyway regardless.

i dont know how id feel about that, i mean dont get me wrong i love vulgarity as much as the next person butttt it kinda takes away from the whole disney aspect if you swear. so yeah my opinion leave as is, its perfect just the way it is.
