I haven't played the Hades paradox cup yet so the hardest challenge I have come across is Sepiroth, but I must say that he really isn't as hard as he is cracked up to be but then again it did take me over 20 times to beat him.
For anyone who hasn't beaten him, it's a LOT harder if you don't have your drive forms leveled up because you can't jump nearly as high to get him when he says "Sin harvest" and you can't glide to avoid his meteor attack. So if you're having trouble level up those drive forms.

I think the first boss in Beast's Castle was the hardest, that darkball-like thing. Once it transformed, I was so out if Potions and what not and was beaten soon after.

Sephiroth has no competition in the hardest boss category. He was made for that exact purpose. Everyone else was just too easy.

I dunno, I found Xaldin on Proud Mode extremely hard, even with Mickey. Sephiroth was too predictable.

None of the battles were hard for me. I do agree, the Grim Reaper was the most annoying out of all the bosses in the entire game. Imagine this:
Your on a walk at the park. You pick up every coin you see on the ground. In front of you is a chest. You start dumping them into the chest when... BAM! You're knocked out of the way, and coins are flying everywhere. Then a big dude with a swinging slicey-thingy comes walking along and gatherig every last coin. Then it repeats over and over again. Doesn't that sound fun?
