The problem isn't really religion itself, it's being taught to swallow whatever you are told without question I don't like. I am Wiccan, but I question myself on what that really means to me quite often. I question my elders and the younger set on their beliefs, just to see what they'll say-Gadflies are hard to come by nowadays-the people or ideas that challenge all you know.

I often wonder how it is it got this way, but apathy and ignorance seems to be the general reason in America. It is very hard. Even if I was a Christian, I know I'd hold heretical beliefs anyway, so what's the difference? It's just suppresion of minorities, which is wrong.

There is NOTHING wrong with pagans. Early christians labeled them as witches, and being uneducated low-lifes, the christians burned 'em. Nowadays, pagans are not exactly labeled witches, but old habits die hard, so now, pagans are labeled as devil-worshipers, satanists, and the like. So, they are hated and even feared for having a different religion.

I dunno any religion that uses their power of army to tell other people what to do , and if they don't ....make them feel like shit an then try to force them.That is pretty messed up. I don`t let the Bible think for me. I do, however, agree with everything it says but I think for myself. I CHOSE to believe what the Bible says and stick with it. Satan isn`t coming to earth as a man. I believe the AntiChrist is going to resolve vonflicts all over the world. You can go ahead abd tell me that`s "horse shit". And I do believe that gaining salvation is the only way to obtain a home in Heaven. Oh, and there are saved Catholics but Catholics aren`t a division of Christianity, Christians are Christians andCatholics are Catholics. Lastly, wanna here something blaringly funny on my part? No Tom, you too, are being immature. Why start flaming someone who believes in a different perspective from you? You keep on saying good things about Chirstians, and yourself as well. But was it stated in the Bible we both believe in that we should start flaming nor bastardizing anyone who has a different god from our religion? You might have evidence, but it's not concrete. If it was, there would be more Fundamentalists in this world. As individuals with free will, it is our duty to question everything; we are destined to be skeptics.

The Swastika is the most well known 'Hate Symbol, were in reality it is a sign of our Beliefs, known to some as the Sun Wheel, this is a sacred symbol and should not be deemed a taboo. Also the Idea of Satan being a Goat-Man with horns on his head is actually based on the Celtic God Cernunnos! (Ker-non-nus). And what about the Celtic Cross? Eventually I am going to get a huge Celtic Cross tattoo'd on my back with Celtic Pride... I supose thats considered "Racist"?

The Christian Cross is not shunned, not so denigrated - yet for centuries it has been used as a device by organisations bent on slaughter. It is still used by 'hate groups' of bigots. What of the Jewish Star? This has been, and still is used by 'hate groups'. It is freely (proudly in fact) used by groups who deny human rights, and kill others on the basis of race and religion. What of the Crescent Moon of Islam? I never have heard any adherents to any of these religions say - "We can't use our symbols". Why should we have fewer rights?

The way I see it, some of my fellow Catholics are blinded by their faith. They have shut themselves to others and they see what they practice outside their[Catholic] religion is evil, or somewhat related to it.
