Should we really bother?

If we were put on this earth to do something then what is it. Cos now if you think about it we're not really meant for anything. We just live to make more humans, like animals for instance. Why is it supposed to be a strange cycle all he time?

We probably have no reason to exist but people need things like God and reasons we exist to hang on to. It makes them feel secure cos the other outlooks pretty grim.
I believe we make our own destinies and are responsible for what we do.

All of us have a reason to exist, yet, we fail to notice what's our role in the society and in this world we live in. We tend to ask for more than we could have, and we curse our very own misery to others. Light cancels darkness, yet it creates an imperfect balance. Too much of a thing tends to corrupt a being, so much to say on our current situation here. Having political struggles here and everywhere, it seems of no end.

So, what is our very reason of existence? IMHO, I do believe is that, we exist to make a change, whether for a good thing or a bad thing, we have our own purpose of doing it. We neither create, but we always destroy. We build more fire from fire, and then after all, we die miserably, much as we lived miserable.

Maybe we're here to figure out what the heck is going on.

Maybe we have no purpose but to answer our own, little questions.

Maybe if we team up and beat Sin, Spira can live in peace again.

we were put on this earth to prove we can survive. Prove to who? I dunno. We have kids, raise our family, THEY have kids, and it keeps going till the earth ends or we have WWIII (or WWIV if you consider us already in WWIII) and bomb the planet and kill ourselves off. No one is perfect, yet us as a species has survived all these years.

I dunno where I'm going with this....it's hard to explain from my POV.

Life is what you make it out to be, and its coursed by our actions. Life can be truly great if you do bother to do things with friends, family etc. If you don't bother with life and just drift, you're life will be boring and dull and not really worth living. We have life, so make the damn best of it you possibly can!

Does it really matter?

Live how you choose. Make your own goals to accomplish. Otherwise you may as well kill yourself right now. These things shouldn't be so hard.

That is deep. I think we were put here to just live an be happy. Like maybe where we were was not a good? Here we can do many things that people take for granted. Like taste (my favorite), feel, an so on an so forth. I guess i am just one of those people, that with or without god I think that earth is beautifully made so that we can live an let live. i think people forget to do that, and that is why it seems like we have no purpose. When you concentrate on hatred you kinda don't see the good. An the good is the purpose

On a serious note, I think there is no point in it, we just do and trying to figure things out is just like running around in circles for no point. I think the bigger issue is what happens when we die? Do we have a Soul? What don't we see? This brings up more issues, but those are the questions I feel we should be answering ourselves.

I like to believe in reincarnation, and from what I know about that, to move forward into a better and beautiful life, you need to struggle from a measly cockroach all the way up to a human, and even then you have to continue to fight for a better life. One trend I have noticed is all the great leaders, inverters, philsophers, discoverers etc struggled all through life, nothing came easy to them. For example Nietszche(Sp), he struggle all through his life with depresion and illness, and he inspired many Germans. His name is rather tainted now but you can not deny his great wisdom. Effectivly if you want to be something great then you have to struggle for it.

As for a Soul, I also like to think this is the what we truely are behind our thoughts, behind our personality, this is what you see when you look really deep into somebodies eyes. Actually, to me I think the soul is the only thing that I believe really exists, everything else is just us staring into a Television set, dictating what we see.

I think it is important to take into account what we don't see. For example we see 3 Dimensions, occasionally we see the 4th, but apparently there are 64 all together. I have absolutely no idea how that works but I think it is above human comprehension. Also we can not see time, as the ancient Pagans believed, time is what prevents us from becoming Gods, perhaps we are all gods but due to time we will never reach our full potential. If there is a higher level such as a "God" then I think time would no longer exist, we just do not know how to comprehend it.

Considering all the events that have happened since the beginning of the Universe, I really can't believe that we happened by accident. If there is a purpose to life and existence, I don't believe we have found it yet. The thirst for knowledge and information drives us to go beyond our normal life, and try to achieve a better existence. If there is a purpose I don't believe we'll find it for a few hundred or thousand years. This couldn't have happened by random chance. Read the story "The Nine Billion Names of God" by Arthur C. Clarke.. for more insight.
