TFF Elimination Survivor Style

I've had this thought before but never really thought we might actualy try it. So far this thread will be for the discussion of it and signing up if it takes place.

The idea is simple. Instead of the elimination thread's style, we'd have a vote once or twice a week{with a specifict time period to vote in} depending on how many participate. The one with the most votes is eliminated and we wait untill the next vote.

Something from my point of view of why like this and how certain things are effected by set vote times. With how often and when, you only get a chance then. If you aren't there in the specified time then you don't get to vote. This is possibly a huge factor since some won't make it and votes will vary. Of course times won't always be the same and dates either since some might never be able to vote because of their schedule.

This might just be me and my love of gambling and wanting something if I wins, but how about a pot? If you enter you'd pay a small fee up too 100 gold{depending on how many enter}. Then someone like Loco will hold it safe until the end when he will give the winer their prize.

I like this idea. Especially the entry fee part, but not everybody will like that.

Some questions:

Will there be certain limits, such as needing to have a certain amount of posts? Will staff be able to particpate? Etc.

Will the votes be by PM, or in this thread? I think it would be better if votes were by PM.

How long of a voting period will there be? I would recomend a period of about two days.

If you're accepting registrations already, I would like to join this.

Well, I'm keeping the fee cheap so as to not put anyone off. It'll probably be around 50.

I'm still desciding on voting. The elimination thered for members wasn't changed so that made me thing voting here was okay. PM would be nice but who would count the votes that we trust?

Two days! You must be looking at this wrong. I'm talking 6-10 hours about two days a week here.

I'm guessing we will have at least a small requisite. Probably around 50 posts at most and staff can join or vote.

Read the entire thing. There's going to be a requisite to be in this. I'm thinking not only about 50 posts, but you have to have been a member for at least a month.

And no, we are not taking people yet. I'm asking for opinions and seeing if this will work out before any promises are made.

Hikari, I like the idea. It really reminds me of the member elimination, but it also includes gold. If it works, I would like to join. Also, I don't think you should set a limit to those who join. Let everybody join, and see if there are many members. If there are too many, then set the limit. If they are not too many, then, let even the new members.
