You can level up on here, but that goes up depending on how much you have posted. You see the Exp. bar to the right of your Health bar? That goes up the more you post, and after making a certain amount of posts, you level up.

To get the "You have mastered Ultima" title, you need a certain amount of rep. You get reputation when a TFF member thanks you by clicking on the box with the 'x' and check mark.

Take a look at the Guide to User Reputation if you want to know more and how much rep you need to get certain titles.

I don't think there is a repping system anymore - I think the green dot things are there for old times sake.

I am not to super sure on this one, but once again I beleive that the old rep system is back up and running again. This might also have something to do with the recent upgrade. But if it is the Azuteor is correct in what he is saying.

Now given the term rep is dead in a sence, it is now the thanks system; but it only makes sence to call the green bars rep (old habits die hard I guess).

Maybe one of our friendly neighborhood admins will pop in and inform us.

Yeah, the rep system, which I'm not sure is still active or not. Anyway, as stated in that guide, you need 1000 Rep to recieve the 'Ultima' dot.

I have a question as well. You know how all normal member can only give rep as a 1 pointer? How many points is it when you get thanked by a Mod/S-Mod/Admin?

If the thanks system is the same as it used to be, then not all normal members would give only one point of rep. From what I remember the amount of rep given was mainly determined by the level of rep that the person giving the rep had. It was also said that the post count and some other factors were taken into consideration, but I don't know how much that part was actually weighted. I don't even think there is a way to check the exact amount of rep one is given when they receive rep, but I haven't received or given rep since the new system came out, so I'm not sure. I've never been thanked by a mod, so I'm not sure, but I don't think it would be much different than getting rep from any normal member. It would be nice if some sort of announcement about how the new thanks system works was posted because it seems that many members are confused on how it exactly works and if it still is the same as the rep system.

Since there are two types of levels and nobody is really sure which one your talking about here's a little diagram that should help:



Reputation Level Information (1)

• The power to change a user's reputation seems to vary depending on what your actual reputation level is. Moderators and Administrators seem to have the same power as a normal member with the same level.

Level and Experience Information (2)

• Your experience meter eventually fills up the more you post, when you reach 100% experience, you will level up. Depending on the number of posts it has taken for you to level up, you may or may not advance a 'job'. These stats are for fun only and do not collerate to anything.

Well I just got back from a long time away to see a new system had come around, man do I really need to get back on track with things. Anyways I have no clue how that rep works, nor do I even think about it. Besides it matters not to me what rep I have, because in real I am just a shadow to everyone around me. Even my family only uses me, so basically if I were not given any rep then that is fine with me because nobody seems to acklogde me at all.
