Ah, there's a thread similar to this already in Forum Announcements (I think.). It's happened a few times. It was deduced to being from the Google ads. I PMed Fuzz earlier about it, and sent Cesar an email... so, it will probably get worked on.

For now, if you feel the need to lurk here, you're gonna have to lower your security settings. If it's a Windows machine, just keep Adaware and your antivirus ready and up to date. If it's Linux, don't worry too much and just pay attention slightly. OR... or... You could get a hold of Knoppix, run that, and not worry. It's Linux that runs off disc. *nudge to Sean* It would be fun to play with.

Yeah I've played about with Knoppix before but never got enough into it to try and get a good understanding of it. =\

I was running it on a machine I planned to turn into a server, but I wound up giving it to my mom since my brother effed her IDE channels and I couldn't run a harddrive to it anymore.

I looked in Forum Announcements and didn't see anything, but admittedly only scanned down the first few threads. =\

Google is the third-party adding malicious code to a legitimate site.

This happened just a couple months ago, too. Some of the ads that Google was putting on the rotation were malicious in nature. Go ****ing figure. It took Fuzz two or three weeks to get us removed from the list, and to get Google to fix their ads.

Looks like it's time to do it all over again. >_<

Thread there, sorry. xD I was only hopping on to browse while I waited for 2 more episodes of Seirei no Morbito to download and noticed it, and figured it was a "JUST HAPPENED IN THE LAST HOUR ZOMGS" thing and wanted to post it.

Nothing to see here folks, move along. >_>;; I'd be fine regardless then, wouldn't I? I run adblock, which should completely keep adsense from loading in the first place, right?

I need to read up more on what I'm doing with computers now. -_-; I got too lazy over the past few years.

It looks like this is a sucky situation all around.

The thread was called Malware Warning.

I'd suggest each member to use Adblock and Firefox with pop up blocker enabled. Add anything that goes through to Adblock and keep up the system scans. I think that's the best we can do until Google Adsense cleans up its act. (Which it probably never will.)

THAT WAS IT! Kind of ironic that it listed itself as an attack site. Advice: Never search with google, it may give you malware. Or any site listed on google. Oh wait, that is almost the entire web...

Had this problem today when i visited about it being an attack site. Google AdSense sometimes gets used as a sneaky way to send bad stuff like viruses and malware. I think it would be best if Google AdSense just doesn't get used on the site.

Well, I have two computers, one slower than the other one (and wouldn't you know it? The slow one is the only one who won't register this site as an attack site... curse my luck...) and I'm really pissed cuz I have to use my slow computer so I don't get "attacked."
