Here is the complete up-to-date list of how Gil can be earned and spent at the TFF Forums. I'm sure future modifications may take place to adjust more fair prices, we will be sure to always update this thread so everything remains accurate.

How To Earn Gold:
- 750 Gil for Registering
- 500 Gil for Your Birthday
- 500 Gil per successful referral to TFF Forums. Find your unique Referral ID Link in your User Control Panel
- 25 Gil for giving users reputation
- 1 Gil for viewing member profiles
- 1 Gil for viewing a thread
- 10 Gil per reply (.01 added per character over 300 in reply)
- 20 Gil per good reputation
- 25 Gil per new thread
- 5 Gil per poll vote
- 5 Gil per thread you rate
- 100 Gil for adding a profile picture
- 500 Gil for becoming an arcade champion

Submit Material To The Site:
- Walkthroughs - 500 Gil
- Review (under 500 words) - 250 Gil
- Review (over 1000 words) - 500 Gil
- Fan Artwork - 200 Gil Each
- Media Files (MIDI, etc) - 100 Gil
- Game Content - 150 Gil
- Fan Fiction - 200 Gil

You can also submit your own content directly to Fuzz for inclusion of the main website. If content is validated, proper Gil will be awarded after it is published.

How To Spend Gil:

- Can buy items at vbCommerce
- Can play games at the Arcade! http://www.thefinalfantasy.com/forums/arcade.php Games cost anywhere from 20 to 40 Gil each.
- Deposit Gil into the Bank.
- Prizes and Games will be able to be purchased later. We will announce as soon as we have this ready.


How To Gain Ranks

How To Gain HP
You must post an average of 5 posts a day to keep your HP gauge at full. This is simply a meter of how active you are. Nothing happens to your account when your HP gauge hits 0.

To Gain Levels
Simply post. The higher your level gets the more posting it will take to gain additional levels. The Exp. Bar gauges your progress.

- nothing happens when your HP guage hits 0
- arcade games cost anywhere from 10 to 40 gp a game.

Is it true that thieving reduces your Reputation points, even if the attempt doesn't work?

I don't remember if I tried the thief thing myself or not, but taking into account the reputation I've recieved (from my User CP page) would I be correct in thinking that everybody starts with 10 Reputation points?

Good question -

Reputation points do not go up or down depending on the success/failure of a theft attempt.

The only thing you can lose is GP if you are unsuccessful. And yes all members start with a default value of 10 reputation points. Hope this helps. ^^

Locke36 - You can check your gold several different ways. The best way is to just click the 'vbPlaza' link at the top-navigation bar.

This really helps, I don't have 1,000 gold anymore.

Scroll to the top of the screen. You'll see a bunch of options, starting with User CP.

There's a button that says "vb Plaza Menu", click on that, and it should give you more options. To buy gifts, click on "Give Gifts".

All you have to do is pick what you want to purchase, insert the name of the user you want to give the gift to, and a comment (last ones' optional).

You put your gold in it and it sits there, accumulating interest. It's just like a real bank, man. They keep your money and then give you extra for letting them hold it. Basically, anyway.

Yes, at the beginning you have 1000 gold...I don't think anybody stealed your moneys...you have 1153,76 gold so anybody hasn't steal money from you...But quess what I didn't get 1000 gold when I join...when I joined they didn't give any gold for joining...
