For the last 8 months, their website was just flocked by questions and people complaining on the continual pushed back release date... I want to believe they are working hard, but who knows now.... I'm still hoping for another few months...

There is no alternatives. Plus this will be the best and easiest to integrate with our current Gil system.... so until then, no store; but we'll keep everyone updated.

I've read through the gil explanation thing but I still don't understand it =[.... I don't get really what it's for or why we need it, if someone could answer I'd be happy

As you earn gil, then you will be able to purchase items here:

For example, you can buy stuff there and have it displayed as you post or in your profile. Or you can send people these items as a gift :3 I'll send you an item so you can see ^__^

Gil is pretty much just for fun here. Right now all you can do now is buy items, like Kilala said, and play arcade games. There used to be more things to do with your Gil, but they haven't been around for probably two years now. So now it is pretty much just for show until more features get added eventually.

Thieving hasn't been around for years now. It went away with the old vBPlaza I believe. I kind of miss the old vBPlaza now. There were more cool things to buy with our Gil than what we have now.

Is the +500 Gil for setting a high score gone now? I never seem to get money by getting first place in arcade games. And what's the "jackpot" thing next to games? It has been a while when Fuzz created this thread, so I imagine a lot of things has changed?

You can buy them at the vBCommerce, which is located at the top of the page. You need to use your Gil to buy things. Once you do, go to Manage Your Icons to choose to display it. You can display up to five different items.

You can also buy them as gifts for other members. To do this, click the drop box with the word Buy next to the item you want to buy, and make it become Gift. Now, type in the name of the member who you want to give the item to. Type a message to them if you want to.

If you don't want an item anymore, you can either Trash it or Return it. If you Trash it, it becomes lost forever, and if you Return it, it goes back to the store, and you get most of your Gil back. However, you can only Return items that you bought yourself. You can't Return items that you are given.

These items affect nothing. You can't buy a Potion and expect to have your HP restored, because that's a different matter. They are just for fun, and they're to show people that you appreciate them or whatnot by buying them a present.

You are simply not depositing enough, mainly because you don't have enough.

Try checking the How do I section, this has ben asked a lot. It's just for show, there is no real reason for it. If you stay active you can keep your HP up. Five posts per day I think it is.

I wouldn't say that there is no reason for the HP bar. The HP bar shows how active you are. It is more used for decoration, since this is a site devoted to Final Fantasy, but it is an easy way to see how active a member is.

Now for something pointless, I would point to the EXP bar...

Hmmm. yes.. I thought the experience bar filled as you approached a new rank? maybe not..
