How To Earn Gil, Spend It, Gain Ranks, and More

This topic began a LONG time ago. Back then we had Gold, but the recent forum upgrade sorta diminished our whole Store system, and now we just have Credits and the Arcade.

Can anybody tell me where I can search for this site's Game Content and Fan Fiction? I aslo don't know how to post new threads....

For game content you can go here: http://www.thefinalfantasy.com/games/. There is a list of most of the games there. Some things need to be updated, but you should be able to find what you are looking for there. Also I don't think that there are really fan fictions here. At least I haven't found any.

Posting a new thread is pretty easy too. First you go to the forum you want to post the thread in. Then you click the "New Thread" button in either the upper or lower left corner. Then type the title and your post. Finally click the "submit new thread" button.

Can somebody tell me ALL the necessary steps to submit a quiz? Including how to write it?

This question probably doesn't belong in this thread, but I'll answer it.

1. Go to the quiz section by clicking "Quizzes" on the navigation bar
2. Click "Submit A Quiz" under submissions on the left hand side of the screen
3. Enter the quiz name
4. Enter the quiz description
5. Select which category the quiz should go under
6. The Quiz Image is optional so it really isn't needed if you don't want it
7. Enter your first question
8. Select your answer type (single line text box, radio buttons, or checkboxes)
9. Click "Add Question To Quiz"
10. For the single-line text box you just type the answer in. (Part answer is pretty nice. If you don't understand it you can click the "What's This" button for more info.)
11. For a radio button question type all of the possible answers into the first area. Then type the correct answer into the Actual Answer text box.
12. The checkboxes are similar to the radio buttons, but there can be multiple answers.
13. After you have finished with all of your questions click "Submit Quiz"

It is really pretty self-explanatory. You should be able to figure it out from here. I hope you create some pretty interesting quizzes.

K, been awhile since I've been on here, so I'm gonna take a guess and say that the bank is not around anymore? Last time I saw the bank was when people had their own stores and sold stuff for like insane amounts of money, but I can't remember....

Not a problem, was the least I could do.

The whole point/credit/gil system is currently just hanging out in limbo until the new eStore is ready for this version of vBulletin. We've been waiting for it for... what, a year now? Maybe not quite that long, but it feels like it. I must admit, the absence of gifts was kind of nice just because it cleaned up the postbits a lot, but giving the users the ability to change their own usernames, colors/italics/bold/etc. and the sort was handy.

I went ahead and made some updates to the original post of this thread. The store is currently offline until the new one is released, so those items will be temp. off until that system is installed again. I also took the liberty to rename all references to Gold to Gil.

Will probably make more updates soon, but most of needed updates have been completed.

It was in the first post. This should help you out. Right now all you can really spend Gil on are games in the arcade. As soon as the store comes out you will be able to spend your Gil on a variety of other things.

The Arcade Pass was sold through the store... which we're STILL waiting for an update on so it will be compatible with our forum software. I think Fuzz said we've been waiting on it for a year and a half now. That's a long time.
