Ok, so here's my story
When I got back from being inactive for weeks, I found that the "edit signature" thing had been changed, and I wanted to put up a new signature.
So I put up the code, and when I looked, it was just a url link.
Finally after 3 tried I got a better code from Chez.... still just a url link.
So there it is, the link. Can you give me a code/do something so I can have my sig back up?

still, not working.
I don't know what's wrong with it, but I just put in that code and when I did "preview signature" it showed up right, but it's right back to the link. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but apparently I'm doing something. Here's the code I used:

There's a chance the site may not allow hotlinking. Try uploading it at tinypic or photobucket instead, and see if that makes a difference.

Easiest way is probably typing the text, highlighting it and then clicking the link button up top. Just backspace the http:// and paste in your URL.

Use the [url] tag -- specifically, [url=address]TEXT[ /url] (without the space).

Hey Loco, I found out why.
Basically, I think that If I put the code and select preview signature, it does something to it to screw it up. It's no big deal now, but thanks for helping me.

Ok this is actually pretty easy to do, but you will need some Gold to do it. First you can click on the vbPlaza Menu at the top of the screen. Then go to vbPlaza Main. When you are there you go to either Username or User Tiltle Options. There you can do various things to your Username and your User Title. It is pretty self explanitory from there. If you need more help you can PM anyone or just post another question. I hope this helped.

Okie doke, I'm also having some troubles here. I've (tried to) set up an image signature - originally as an image map, to use it as links to Livejournal and devART - but I can't get it to work as a simple IMG SRC tag either. It's a GIF file, and hosted at Photobucket. Could it be I'm having troubles because I'm using Firefox? I can't think of anything else that could specifically affect it.

Anyways, help from Cesar or other helpful parties would be great.

I'm using FireFox and the image mapping works just fine.
So maybe it's just you? I don't know. But I'm telling you it's working just fine.

Hey dude, Stay away from Safari..This browser is sucks !! You want the best..listen to Great Writer Vicky and use FireFox, I am using FireFox and it's working just fine with me too.

Anyway, Try to copy and paste this code into your Signature text field and let me know:

I have all three browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari) open and lined up showing the exact same page. IE and Firefox don't show EITHER copy of the image, and Safari shows both. By the by, I'm seeing other people's signatures with no problems whatsoever, so I am kind of confused. I might try clearing cookies and internet temp files and all that, see what happens.

The centered image works fine with the image mapping links.
The one on the bottom left does not.

Just keep the one in the center. It works. And if you can't see your own images, then that's on your end. So.. try and figure it out.
