Games you'd like to see as Movies!

So... what games would you like to see on the big screen? I know movies of games tend to suck most of the time, but still.

Personally, I'd love to see Fahrenheit turned into a movie. Wouldn't it be great if you could change what happens in the movie if at the end of each chapter/ or during the movie you are given a list of options. Or, you could have an option to just watch the movie as the directer intended.

Another I'd love to see would be Yakuza. Yeah, there will be lots of swearing, and it'll probably get banned from a few countries, but the story was amazing in the game. Ha, with the amount and length of the cut-scene's in the game, the game may as well be the movie!

I also think the Final Fantasy games would make some good movies. If a game can make you cry, or make you angry, imagine how a movie would make a person feel?

I think most games would benifit more from being anime (preferably a mini-/maxi-series of some kind)...especially the Final Fantasy games (CGI animation series might be a bit much)...

Chrono Trigger would be great as an anime series. Get Toriyama on it! Sounds like pure win.

yea i got a few in mind that i would like to see into movies like onimusha metal gear solid but i bet they they may be already thinking about it but a final fantasy movie using like 8 would be great

NONE! Most movies made from games are bad and I wouldn't want to see my favorite games butchered because of it. I've heard bad things about game movies. Then again there probably are some good ones but I'd rather not see them. =\

Farenheit (AKA Indigo Prophecy AKA probably the first place Unknown Entity heard Theory of a Deadman, or me at least)

American McGee's Alice (which is apparently being a movie)

Final Fantasy VI (assuming the story isn't raped)

I would want to see Metal Gear as a movie. I heard a rumor that there was going to be a Metal Gear Solid movie coming out in a few years, but when I heard that, I immediately thought; this is stupid. You can't start a film series off in the dead center of a story. Only George Lucas can pull that off.

I was going to say Fallout, but that's pretty much Mad Max haha. Then i was going to say Destroy All Humans, but that'd be Mars Attacks XD... i'm good at this no? >.>;

A Warcraft (not WoW >.<) movie would be pretty good, plenty of storylines to work from there and i wouldn't put it past Blizzard to go that way, since all they're concerned about is money these days =p. I'll add The Suffering aswell, just because my friend was playing it earlier and its messed up XD. A Diablo movie would be awesome too, just because i'm a fan of the games =p, although i'm sure if i looked around hard enough i could find a movie that is similar to it.

So very true lol! Ton's of movies of games suck, and ruin the game experience! Even games which were made from a movie suck... Even so, if you knew the movie would be really good, what would you like to see?

Fahrenheit would make a great movie. I just hope that if it does get made, it won't be some low-budget, crapy acting piece o' *BEEP*... That would suck...

I also heard the rumor of MGS being turned into a movie. But thats been off and on for quite a while now. Again, the movie better match up to the game... Don't think it will, but it better.

I was thinking of Assassin's Creed being made into a movie... but I'm not sure how it would be pulled off. Hitman is an assassin game, and the movie... was good, but... crap. I'm not saying AC will be crap because Hitman was crap, but its in the same kind of boat.

Tomb Raider! I know its already a movie, but... a movie of the game would be better. My opinion anyway.

SOS Final Escape was a pretty shite game, but as a movie, I think it would do well. The story is too good to pass up.

And... last but not least... Onimusha! That would make a fantastic movie!

I always wanted Final Fantasy X to be a movie... despite the fact that it would ruin the game, I still think it would be nice. A good way of going through the story without having to play the whole game, hehe.

But yeah... I'd really like a FFX movie. A lot of people hate the idea, but I'd really like it. In fact, people will probably bash on this idea now >.>;.
