What type of gamer are you?

I'm an RPG gamer i don't really collect but i usually only complete a game that has a story line that drags me in it doesn't matter what battle style but i hate timed things there my one true annoyance (a small reason y i didn't like FF8 don't get me wrong it was good just don't like time things).

I play many games at once but if i find a game i like i carry on and complete it before the rest.

I am a definite perfectionist. I just have to have a game completed for some reason. I can't leave anything undone or unbeaten and have to have all the best unlockables. It's the reason why I never completed Final Fantasy X-2 and why I can't finish Crisis Core (even though I'm at the last part).

I am also a collector, but only of game series I really like, such as Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, even if I don't like one of the individual games. I used to collect Harry Potter games too, but after Goblet of Fire, I thought it was a waste of money. At that time, I discovered Final Fantasy. I'll probably just buy the Wii versions of Order of the Phoenix, Half Blood Prince, and Deathly Hallows when they're like $20 each. lol.

I'm very competitive playing video games, dating way back to the Pokemon Red/Blue versions, where I spent countless hours leveling up and perfecting my ultimate pokemon squad. I was king of the Elementary school in pokemon, and people even wrote down in my 4th grade yearbook that I was the "Pokemon Master"!

Upon playing a new game or starting a new file or whatnot, I'll usually dump a bunch of time, like from 6-10 hours at the start on the first day, then I'll kinda throw it into my usual routine of games to play that I have. Sometimes it will get lost in the laundry list of games to beat, but by then I'll have something else sweet to play so it wont be any big deal.

I play a lot of rpgs and racing games and I am most definately a perfectionist - I want to find everything the first time i play the game. The more side quests or extra tracks, the better!!

Depends on the game I'm playing I guess. If it's a really great game I tend to focus on that one game and don't play anything else. But sometimes I just get bored in the middle of a game and play something else. Regarding RPGs though I'm a perfectionist I guess - want to have every single item etc. I have a lot of unfinished games laying around, even some I have never played so far... One day I wanna finish them all, but somehow I can't get bothered to play anything much lately...

I dunno what type i am , i geus a perfectionist .
Ones I have a game I play it until I have everything ..
(sometimes its hard like in start oceaan for the battle trophie)
but I always go my best and I don't stop ..

I also would start over if I missed even the smallest trhing !

I am not a perfectionist unless I have motivation to complete the game 100%. I really don't care about completing games offer no rewards that interest me. On the other hand, I did complete FF and KH series because I felt the unlockables in the game were great.

i am a hardcore gamer, i play mostly sqare enix games and alot of the games for ps3. if you need a challenge or just wanna talk my psn is angeal18

I'm an ADD, pack rat gamer. I have to have all of the games... then I have to play them at the same time. I'm constantly reprimanding myself, because I never stick to one game. My boyfriend is always whining, because he never gets to see the end of the games. Of course, if someone tells me to play a game, then I can not do it. Nope, I can't listen.

I've only ever sold one game in all that I've owned. (It was a second copy of FFX, still shrink wrapped. Bastards only gave me $8. It's a good thing I didn't care for X much. TEN! Not "EX!") I collect old systems, too. I have several NES, SNES, N64, PSX, and PS2 systems. I have several copies of certain games like the NES Zeldas and Final Fantasies, with one copy of Zelda: Adventure of Link mint, in box, with manual and all original papers, including a Nintendo Power advertisement.

And what's the most awesome about this old school stuff? I got almost all of it for free. No shit.

EDIT: I also have a bit of perfectionist and completionist in me. It makes for some odd habits when you mix it with ADD pack rat syndrome.

With FFVIII and FFIX i found them rather easy to play, so i have a habit of rushing through them, so by the time i reach the last disks i start to struggle a bit with the game cos my levels are crap, but i have recently started playing them again, and i am taking my time, and im doing rather well, nearly at the end of both games and haven't had a tough spot yet, so from now on i think i will stick to taking my time, it takes a lil longer but its alot easier.

I can't keep my attention on just one game, for the most part. I love to play multiple games at a time, and I know I really need to learn to cut back and just do a few at a time and actually finish them properly, but I don't know...the game I play has to suit the mood. If I had time, I would plow through all of the core FF games before that anime convention next month that I am hosting a ff fan panel for, but I won't have time...might not even finish ffv and ffix before that, but I'm going to try!

I'm a mix of a game collector and perfectionist. I love to see every game completed before I move onto another, but then again I love to have all the games I want ready for if I fancy starting that lol Arcade games included XD

When I get I game that I'm really sucked into I become a perfectionist. It happened when I got FFX a while ago. I'm kinda an RPG and Adventure/Action gamer. Overall I just try to enjoy the game. =D
