The Lunar series!

I am wondering if anyone has played any of the Lunar games on any of the consoles that it was on. I got the PS version, Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete Collector's Edition. It is a good game that I would recommend.

yeah i have played both Lunar SSSC and Lunar 2 for PS. Personally i loved both of them they were great, sssc was better in my opinion. For its era i was really supprised with the over all stories and the visuals. i highly recommend this series.

These games are pretty much the main reason I imported a SegaCD...
True that...

I love the characters and story, and own the originals on SegaCD, Lunar SSSC on the PSX, and Lunar: Genesis on DS. And though it's the same as Genesis I also imported the NA equivalent, Lunar: Dragon Song.

Though not the best by today's standards, hearing voiced characters on the SegaCD when I first got it blew me away..

Lunar is the biggest reason I bought my Sega CD system back when it came out and it was well worth it.
And the original games for Sega CD are far more superior than any of the remakes.

Sure, the remakes have lots of pretty animations and updated graphics, but they're far too easy and not nearly as challeging or as fun as the original games. It didn't last nearly as long either. I think I beat it in about 20 some hours...maybe less.

I've played both games for Sega CD and both remakes for Sega Saturn, plus Legends (the remake of SSS) on the DS.

Lunar Silver star story complete was just a hands down awesome RPG. I loved every second of it. Although I didn't get a chance to play Lunar 2, but I'm sure it was great from what I heard.

I have both the Silver Star Series and Lunar 2. I am currently going though the Silver Star series, and if it turns out really good, I will play Lunar 2. Hopefully, the Bromides get much better.

Lunar had an awesome translation going on. It took a long time, but it was well worth it. I'm so happy they made the jokes understandable for Americans. The battle system was pretty cool, and the storyline irks me in so many ways, but in good ways. It's worth playing the Lunar series.

I am amazed at the foulness of the jokes. And they make me smile. Don't get me wrong, I am not a prude. I love these jokes with a passion. And the Bromides. I even printed out a list of where to find them all, for they are worth it (I hope, at least).
