Star Ocean Till the End of Time Question

My question from Star Ocean Till the End of Time is how do you open 2P Vs Mode? If someone knows the answer please help.

Its been so long since I did it. There is a town where you get introduction to the synthesis system. And nearby is a dungeon, an optional one where at the very end of the dungeon you'll get a table from the boss. You take that item back to the girl at the synthesis store and she will hold on to it for you and let you play 2P vs mode whenever you want. I'd actually be able to give you names if it hadn't be like 4 years since I played the game.

If you've beaten the game already, is it too late to get this mode now?

I'm not 100% certain. You'd probably just had to return to the world and go to the dungeon. There might be new monsters there, but I think you can still get it. However, I got it in while I was still on the planet for the first time, so I am not positive. Since you already beat the game it would be really easy to beat the boss there.

To get the VS mode you have to go to the west section of Iris Plains. There you will find an entrance to a dungeon named Surferio Underwater Garden. At the end of this dungeon you will have to beat a boss named Sculpture Ruler. After beating it, proceeds to the last room to earn your reward: Paracelsus Round Table.Now go back to Peterny and go see Welch. Show her the table and it will grant u access to VS mode when talking to her.

I remember the puzzles in that dungeon took a bit. FAQing it should simplify things if all you want to do is unlock that mode.

I went there after beating the game. In that point it is amazingly easy to beat the mosters & the Boss in there. I don't think you'll have any trouble with that one. The dungeon is like a maze though & the puzzles can be a bit frustrating.

But, anyhow, the 2P VS Battle Mode isn't as cool as it sounds. The characters don't have that much HP & the battle's over soon & in order to make them balanced, they didn't give that good abilities to them. It depends on what feature you want them to have, but the are nothing compared to your characters. That makes some characters too weak & some others better than the rest.
