What's The Oldest System You Own or Had Owned?

Basically, yea. What is the oldest system you ever owned, not just played on.
Cuz, you could have a system, but not usable / broken.

Sorta "How far back do you go in gaming?"

I want to know, who got the oldest system ever.

Give your oldest 3 systems.

Please add a year if available.
Include computers too as a seporate item.

I'll start
  1. I got an old Atari system, not sure about the date though. I think it's early 80s.
  2. I had a Commodor 64 computer from the 80s, but it got sold.
  3. I had a Super Nintendo, Old, beaten, but still usable. I sold it for 70 bucks.

The first console I ever owned was a Sega Master System. Although my parents gave it to relatives and now it was broken.

Following that I owned a Gameboy. The old black and white one. Then a psx.

But that's the oldest I owned. I was a 90's child .

The oldest thing I still own would be my Gameboy, the original gray hulking brick compared to the fancy ones of today. That thing is like 15 years old at this point, I do not remember exactly, but I know when I got. So I would just have to spend the time to count back. Needless to say I was still in elementary school when I got.

However, going further back, we did have an Atari. At the time all I know was that it was an Atari, so I can't remember the model it was. I was too young to really care about the numbers that followed after it. It was a long time ago.

I do remember the Commadore 64 that we owned though. I played on that more than the Atari we had. Though I do not think we had the Atari very long. But turning on a computer was far more natural than trying to plug in the Atari. It my first computer I played on and where I learned about computers. Sadly the hardware failed and we got a 386 Packard afterwards. But I kept the monitor for the Commadore long after the computer was dead. It was a great monitor, I used it for my SNES and watching TV for the longest time.

In fact, I used my Commadore's monitor until I bought myself my N64 with the screen failing and bought myself a cheap like $90 13' TV to replace it. Which was when I was 14 and we had the computer since before I could remember. So that Commadore monitor was a good 10 years old if not older before it broke. They made a good monitor if nothing else.

The earliest gaming console I got was an Atari 2600 from the early 90's sometime I think. I was only about four or five when I started playing it. I loved that machine, it brings back so many fond memories. It barely works now though unfortunately but I still have it in a cupboard somewhere. I loved those games like Space Invaders, golf, Pitfall, skiing and plenty of shooting games. The graphics were obviously crappy but it didn't stop me from having a lot of fun. I had a Ghostbusters game that my Brother gave me one day and it worked so far then it would stop. It never worked properly and it really annoyed me.

Another awesome system I have is the Sega Mega Drive. I got that in around 96/97 for Christmas. I loved that console, it had many great games on it and I even had friends come over to play as well. Streets of Rage would probably be my favourite game on there. There was also a soccer game on there that was awesome. It still works as well except the reset button doesn't do anything. I haven't played it in a while but I'm sure I'll bring it out again sometime soon.

Good times.

Well, I'm not gonna list all my hardware because they're not old.
Anyway.. my oldest system was a computer. It used this big ass floppy discs, some of the older members here might have seen them (about 4 times as big as the floppy discs we have/had now?)

It didn't have a hard drive, it ran on a early verion of MS-DOS and didn't do much good except for a racing game that I liked and perhaps a couple of others. My dad gave it to me, and I was like 9 at the time I think so it was around early 1990's.

The oldest system I've ever owned would be my NES. I lost it due to the carelessness of my little brother though. One day he was playing Mario Bros. 3 with me and he lost a level, flailed his arms, and knocked his orange juice on it. Sparks flew, and my system was dead.

Currently, the oldest system I own is a Sega Genesis. Sega does what Nintendon't! XD

Hahaha, I remember the first computer my parents bought back in the early/mid 1990's. It had a drive for those huge floppy discs as well, but also a normal floppy disc drives. It used to be my aunt's computer back when she was in uni so it was already a couple of years old when we got it. I'm not sure how old exactly though.

Before that we had a Commodore 128. It had games on casette tapes, and depending on the game, it took this fine piece of machinery 10 to 30 minutes to process a game for you to play. I spend hours in front of that one though.
