soul calibur 3 how is it?

im looking to by it and dont no if is a good as the last one or not. ive herd a lot of good things about it but want to no facts from the gameing community. becaues this sight oviously has a lot of big gammers and will reveal some useful information.

its great, but the chronicles of the sword mode sucked badly =/ still worth buying for multiplayer fighting and such, not so much to do with character creation, gets dull after a while

ya thats what some people told me was good about the game i just wanted to make sure. you can creat your own charecter thats intresting.

I personally don't like it. It's basically trying to rip off Age of Empires and Mortal Kombat with it's Chronicles of the Sword mode, and there's a nasty little memory card glitch in the PS2 version. The graphics are pretty as usual, but it hardly makes up for the cheap AI, and the painfully short story mode.

SC3 is good but it should be on other consoles.

The charater customizer is very extensive and fun to use. Playing with your chars is even funner. I didnt have much time playing so I dont know about the story line.

When I played it, I thought it was an alright game. It wasn't really something that made me awe, but its defnitintely fun to play. And the create your character feature is probably the one of the highlights about this game.

Soul Calibur 3. I must say it's great in my opinion. The create character mode is simply awesome and the multiple endings makes it more entertaining. I also like how you can alter the storyline. Definetly a good game.

I played and loved Soul Calibur 2, and when this one came out, i bought and loved it too, but its more of a RPG enthusiast fighter, rather than a pure fighter like the old SC was, leveling characters in chronicles of the sword mode, character creation, it was really ingenious if you ask me, and i dont think it was a ripoff, just a differet approach of something that works to make it better. The only problem i had with the game was that freakin savegame glitch, ive had 3 corrupted files with near 100 pct completion on all, its really annoying and i dont know whats causing it. Other than that, it was a good game, brought down by a really nasty glitch and a game mode that not everyone liked, but some did, like me, lol

Compared to Soul Caliber two, I loved three. I thougt that the combat movements were much more fluid than the second or first, and I enjoyed the Chronicles of the Sword.

I didn't like the fact that some of the character personalities were changed. For example Talim, who used to be really cool, has become a wuss

Overall, a nice game.
