Friendly advice.
If anyone knows of any decent RPG's for the playstation that are relativly unknown, such as Evolution worlds (GC), could you tell me what is good. I want a new one, not too rare please!

Damn. I had the perfect suggestion for you until you said "not too rare."
If you can come across ANY of the Shin Megami Tensei games, get them. Hmmm... Valkyrie Profile seems to be somewhat unknown. I mean, people know about it, but there's not an excessive buzz around the game or anything. If you can find that, you'd probably enjoy it, too.

You can always get Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, for the PSP, which is a remake of the original. Though, I'd get the original anyhow. And the sequel is on the PS2.

Hmmm, thank you guys, make sure if you suggest do what Piroblaze has done and put format
 . I appreciate anything you suggest, I don't get them I tell my mum to order them, so i should be ok as long as the companies and such know what shes on about!

Oh, right, my apologies. Most of the SMT games are for the PS2. I assumed that you were implying PS2 games to be included in that category. If you want strictly PSX titles, may I also suggest Legend of Dragoon? It's a fairly well-known title, so it may not be "unknown" like you asked for, but it's not one to pass up.

You can check my Square on the PS thread for some good rpgs..I mostly talked about Parasite Eve, Threads of Fate and Brave Fencer Mushashi.
All the following are PS 1 games Though Valkryie Profile like they said is a great choice (one of my fav rpgs on the PS), Dragon Warrior VII, Legend of Legaia, Arc the Lad Collection, Breath of Fire 3, Breath of Fire 4, Persona, Persona 2, Rhapsody, Vanguard Bandits, Vandal Hearts 1 and 2, Kartia, Eternal Eyes, the two Lunar titles, Grandia, Front Mission games..would all be good choices too. Not sure how "unknown" some of those really are but i'm trying to think of games other than like the star oceans, final fantasies, chronos, suikodens, xenogears, etc.

I will certainly check that out, just to answer your question though, I am aiming specifically at PS at the moment (that includes PS2), but if there are games for other formats (minus XBOX as i dont have one) then I will gladly check those out also!

If that wasn't enough titles..give Guardian's Crusade (PS) and The jade cocoon titles a try too. Jade Cocoon 1 is for the PS, Jade Cocoon 2 is for the PS2
