Broken Sword
After hearing that not very many people know about this game i thoguht i'd make a topic about it telling the story about it
In the first Broken Sword it starts out wiht a man named George Stobbart sat outside a café in Paris but his Coffee break is suddenly brought to a halt as the Café explodes due to this explosion he decides to look into it and meets a french news reporter named Nico Collard and then the story unfolds.... The game is a point and click adventure but its not your typical boring one its full of action , mystery and addictivness this Broken Sword is the first of a series which started in the 1990's and has 4 games out now Broken Sword - The Shadow Of The Templers (PSX and PC) Broken Sword 2 - The Smoking Mirror (PSX and PC) Broken Sword 3 - (sorry i cant remember the name of this one) (PC , PS2 and X-box Broken Sword 4 - Angel Of Darkness (PC at the moment may be released on other consoles)

I've played the first two broken sword games. I honestly am a big fan of point and click adventures, though today it's basically a dead genre. I think it's kind of stereotyping them to call them "boring." I loved playing the King's Quest and Quest for Glory games on my old pc with windows 3.1 on it..ahh the old days.

I love the Broken Sword series, I've completed BS I and II many many times but I've only finished BS3 twice, George Stobbart is such a simple character which makes a game like this work perfectly though, the puzzles are really fun to try and solve and overall the series is great and unique. I can't wait to play Angel of Death, hopefully I am getting it next week
 I wonder why George is randomely working at a Butchers though in AoD...

yeah George Stobbart is a simple character i agree in I and II you really get to know him and he's generally a cool guy

I loved the first 2 games, they were both equally hilarious and BS 1 was actually one of my very first point and click adventures; I loved every minute of it. 3 was good, but I just couldn't get into it as I did in the older ones, the 2D brought a certain charm to them that I loved.
