Playstation 3 gets a price cut...
in Japan, that is. Seems like they cut the price of the basic system by 20%, rest of the world yet to be announced.

Price cuts are always good but I bet Europe wont get anything like it as Sony always seem to treat us like crap when it comes to the video game market. Good news for Japan though!

Wow I am amazed that they could cut the price seeing as how I have always been told that they were already selling it at a loss. I am amazed that they could do that. Blu-ray players themselves are 1000 dollars right now so you wonder how they can sale so much lower than that?

Well, it seems that Sony has seen the light.
Or they had this planned all along, let's make those price nags feel humble! The price is still steep, but now I see myself getting one during 2007. What I find curious is that Sony is going to leave the decision to price the 60gig one to the retailers, that'll be a war, for sure. I got that news tidbit here |

Wow thats preety good news to hear.
 Even with the price cut the Wii is ALOT cheaper.I mean the Wii is said to be no more higher then $250.I mean $428 is almost twice as much as the Wii is but still i'm just happy that they lowered the price.I hope they move the price lower some more.

Oh wow, are they going to do this for everyone? I bet they won't cut the price down for us lol. It would be awesome if they did though. I bet it wouldn't be much of a price cut but still, it's better than nothing. I wonder what the price will be now.
 I remember someone here saying it was going to be cheaper than the X-Box 360, well it's NOT! Maybe it will be after the price cut but who knows.

i now actually have hope of getting a ps3! as much as i've trashed it in my other post im starting to like this thing, its no wii, but its to be the second best console out there so im going to have to buy it. as for the 360 it can burin in hell for all I care. microsoft pretty much ****ed itself over with the 360. it had nothing special about really it was an xbox, but with updated graphics. but the only thing i really look forward to is ff13 which might be the only game i buy, but i cant really put a price on final fantasy. |
