80% of the time it is an accessory you have to purchase separately. The other 20% of the time is that there is a particular model of DSL modem that has a router built into it.

So yes. If you have cable, even DSL, you need to buy a router. You'll know if you have a router. Seriously. It has 4 ethernet cable connections.

Got a strange one for you.
Right heres how the story goes:
Got a copy of FF8, tried to play it on a new PS1 and got freezing of a sort, as in it would play the movies at the rate of maybee 2 seconds a minute.
Fast forward five years, new shop, different country, 6 different game sets later. I get the same glitching problem from a playstation 2 round about 2 years old. I buy a new PS2 when the old one starts to break down as in wont play ANY games at all. A few weeks after purchase i decided to try the two versions of 8 on it the one from 7 years ago plays, the one from 3 years ago gets to rinoa on the first movie and stops.
I play on with the 7 year old for a few weeks, then i find that im experiencing slow down only not as bad. A few weeks ago i tried it again and wouldn't go past the squaresoft logo? The thing that baffles me is every other game has always played perfectly on all bar one machine.

ok im having problems with my psp memory card again i just downloaded that "internet radio"
and afterword i had problems, every time i click on "saved data utility" it just sits there and i have to turn off my psp, then when i click on the "music memory stick" my psp freezes, and then i cant get into "monster hunter freedom", or "final fantasy tactics", but my "jeane d ark" works perfectly, can some1 please help me

From what you just said, I assume the "Internet Radio" is giving you problems. Put your memory card in your computer, and delete the Internet radio. >_>

If you find everything is fixed, then there you have it. But seriously though, that does sound like the problem. Or part of the problem at least.

Most likely. I really don't trust anything other than my own MP3s that I put in there. Try deleting the game data of the games that are giving you problems and regrettably start over. That's just an idea, though.

i dont think the game data is the problem cause i cant even get to the main screen of the game cause when it checks my memory card it freezes, i just think ill just buy a new memory card and transfer my data, but thank u anyway toph

Hey people! I bought a pre-owned PsP the other day and then I bought 'Patapon' that new game? except I can't play it. lol It just switches on, saves my game then just keeps loading....

I heard that I would need to upgrade my psp so I connected it to the internet and downloaded one but I couldn't install it afterwards!

My psp is a 3.30.

Since the PS3 backwards compatibility thread is locked can someone tell me if the 80GB PS3 is compatible with all the FF's from VII to XII? Except for XI which I'll get for the PC (if I ever convince my parents to let me pay for a monthly fee).

I just got a PS3 and when I turned it off...The controller keep glowing red!

OH yea...How can I make the controller wireless coz I couldn't use it without the USB shit!!

If anyone said read the manual I'll be pissed coz it's Japanese manual and I'm not Japanese!

The only thing I can think of just unplug your controler from the USB cable and then hit the PS buttonon the controaler itself (the one in the center of the controler) to activate it wirelessly. All of Sony's official PS3 remotes should be set up to run wireless out of the box with out having to change anything. Any time you unplug the PS3 controler from the USB it always turns itself off and you have to turn it back on by use of the controalers power button.

As for the controaler staying I am not sure if that is normal I have never noticed it with my PS3, then again I never really looked haha. Then again it might just be a charge indicator unless you mean you are turning your consol off from the switch on the back of the PS3, then I am miffed. Could just be a defaulty controaler if that is the case.

i have yellow dog linux 6.1 installed on my ps3 and i cant seem to delete i format it and its still there i was just wondering if anyone knew how to get rid of it
