Do you like Harvest Moon?

Okay Ijust bought Harvest Moon Magical Melody. I know I feel Silly admiting that? Still I really like the game for some reason it is fun for me to run around and raise chickens? Anyhow I was just wondering if Iam the only sicko here or do other people like this game to?

I have to admit however that I don't like all of them mostly just the New Magical Melody and the PSX version? I can't recall the title of it right now o well.

So who else is a chicken herder?

Nothing is wrong with Harvest Moon, whoever says it's for kids, well that's just sad that you immediately judge a game like that, it's a great game that entertains you(well me) for hours and hours building up my farm and it's animals, it's a good idea for a game IMO.

I know it's an aweosme game. I've played the old one for the N64 and it was awesome.thats what had me hooked for life.It's fun game plus when you get the Sieth(i think thats how it's spelled)I get to mess with the farm animals.

I've played the N64 and GBC3 versions and loved them. I should try to get the others too, I've wanted the PSX version for a while now since PS versions appeal to me more. I can't remember the names though. I better look them up and maby even look them up on ebay or something.

I'm not a chicken herder, I'm a chicken horder. I always raise the max amount of chickens. I also like cows alot, they aren't as easy to take care of but I love cows too much to refuse them.

BTW kirby, it's spelled scythe, but the HM games call it a sickle. A sickle is smaller than a scythe and used mainly for farming. Using an actual scythe could possibly kill someone. XD

i really hate this game. Its takes way to long to finish and its pretty boring. No excitment. But thats just me so ya. I say NO to the poll.

Technically, the game never finishes. It goes on until you end your time given. After that, you get evaluated and if you pass you keep playing, or (depending on the game) you might get to continue anyways. I don't get why it did that in the N64 version, the three year time limit seemed pretty useless in that game.

I wasted sooo many hours of my life glued to my TV playing Harvest Moon 64 lol. That game was insanely addicting. I really should pick up a newer version, haven't played it since I sold my N64.

I think I had the max amount of chickens, a bunch of cows, and some sheep. And the horse, of course. <3 the horse, always named him Dusty for some reason.

Harvest Moon is the greatest Role Playing Game next to Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior.

Seriously, I've been playing that game since the 90's, and if anything it gets better as the years roll on.

Sure its not what kids call "uber cool" but it is fun and worth buying.

Its not some game where all you do is harvest food, it has a story.

In fact, if I could, I would make one last game for GBA it would be Harvest Moon.

Its the only Rpg where you don't fight monsters, but is still fun as all get go.

Younger kids won't like it, because it requires focus, and its not a kid game.

You have to think and actually play it for hours to enjoy.

It has always been G-Rated though, so its not like kids would not be banned from it, except they lack focus and the will to play for hours.

i like it a lot but the last one i played was the one for gamecube a year ago...i can't wait to get the new one

Magic Melody was reported the best game for Game Cube of 2006. Frankly, I thought it was even better than that. It should have gone on top five.

Game Cube has made a few good games, and that one was it.

I think the Harvest Moon for the DS will be an awesome game.

Yeah DS looks promising. Wonder if you still get to have a dog and horse though? Also, I hope their is little more romance this game around.

Did you like the GBA games of it? I think the improved the graphics.

I love Harvest Moon.

I have Harvest Moon: Back To Nature.

I spent years on this game. Actual years and I still look it to this day. I'm on year 9 now, I think? And I have a wife (the librarian girl) and a baby called Trunks (I was a massive Dragon Ball Z fangirl back then. xD)

I have a horse, a dog, six chickens (I think), six cows (I think) and four sheep.......I think. ._.;

I probably have more chickens or whatever... oh well. I was ****ing rich as well. It's a shame that after a while, there's nothing else to buy... Shame...


Still, though. I love this game.
