I am considering to reject Super Smash Bros. Brawl

I am considering to reject Super Smash Bros. Brawl, because of the chances of my least favorite Nintendo character Lip making it in and the chances of my favorite Nintendo character Ira (a.k.a. Ayra) making it in. The original Super Smash Bros. game had both Luigi (my then favorite Nintendo character) and Yoshi (my then least favorite Nintendo character). I could tolerate Yoshi being without Luigi in some cases, but for Lip (whom I massively hate), that is totally different. Lip is far beyond what I can bear. I am aware that some swear by the Lord class when it comes to new Fire Emblem characters being in Brawl. That is the fundamental problem right there. However, this is not the case with Masahiro Sakurai's consideration list (which includes Oguma who is not a Lord). Sakurai said that he does not care whether a Fire Emblem character is a Lord or not. The Fire Emblem roster of Super Smash Bros. is already balanced enough as it is. Roy will probably NOT return for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, because he was in Super Smash Bros. Melee only for the purpose of advertising Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi (FE6) and he has already served his purpose.

Here is my one condition:
"Are you going to buy/play Super Smash Bros. Brawl?"
If neither Lip nor Ira is playable in the game, then Yes.
If Lip is playable in the game but Ira is not, then No.
If Ira is playable in the game but Lip is not, then Yes.
If both Lip and Ira are playable in the game, then Yes.

Just cause Lip is going to be in there, doesn't mean you're forced to use him/her. Why reject a game just because there's a char you hate in it? Seriously. You're acting like you're 5.

"Oh, I'm not touching it because that character has cooties." is what you're basically saying. It's just one character.

Just avoid using Lip, which I'm sure you can do, and everything will be fine and dandy.

But it totally sucks that Roy won't be back because he was one of the characters I was great with. I guess I'll have to go without him.

SSBB is the main reason I'm getting the Wii, I have other reason but SSBB is at the top. your least fav game charater may be in it? good. that means you get to pwn the living hell out of them, would enjoy getting to beat up charater you don't like? trust me just cause some charater you don't like may or may not be in the game isn't a that good of a reason not to buy it, but what ever thats your choice and you'll be the one that misses out

What Lip and Ira have in common is that they are both female. They both had their origin in an SNES game. They are both Japan-only characters. They were both created by the late Gunpei Yokoi, who died in an automobile accident in 1997.

Posting the same topic you did three months ago does NOT make it anymore meaningful.

What I don't get is, you've pretty much made your point. Your logic is so skewed there's no point in arguing with you. Okay, you hate a character you've only READ about so much, that you have this deluded fantasy of this hated character appearing in a game as MINISCULE OF A CHANCE OF HER TO APPEAR IN IT! IIRC, Lip did appear on a FAN POLL, but was only of a small percentage. Dwarfed by the likes of Geno and Megaman which ranked among the highest.

Okay. So now what? I dunn get it. You just make a topic saying "I REFUSE TO PLAY BECAUSE THIS CHARACTER WHO LOOKS LIKE I HATE HER JUST MIGHT MAKE IT INTO A GAME BECAUSE A FEW JAPANESE FANS ASKED FOR IT"

Are you so insane, you want us to TRY to argue you out of it. Do you want us to say "Hey, Braska's SO SMART! He has SUCH good taste. CLEARLY he's in the right!"

There's no TOPIC here, go post it in a journal or a blog or something.
