What is your favorite RPG of all time?

My Favorite is the- Final Fantasy Seires. I like the battle system the most, and in some of the game theres secret characters that you can get. There are side quests that you can do to get them and other stuff that you really don't need to have but it's just fun to get because you can tell and show your freinds that you did it and bragging rights is yours.

I won't pick on you but I am pretty sure that this thread has been done very recently (and you double posted.) However welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay.

1. Final Fantasy - I mean come on these are the best RPG's out there are they not?

3. Kingdom Hearts - I'm a big fan of Disney and of FF so this was real nice.
4. Paper Mario - All hail Nintendo!
5. Tales of.... -These are all really good I like the fighting in them.
6. Dragon Quest- These are amazing

I also forgot to add some of the best RPG's ever. Those old ones for the PC. Sierra made a bunch of sweet RPG's such as kings quest, space quest, Hero's quest (all those quests) Also maniac mansion was good. Along with many others.

Well everyone is going to say FF, so I won't talk about it.
Pokemon - yes, it's got an incredibly kiddish image, but it was the game that got me hooked on gaming, and is an excellent RPG with great depth.

Paper Mario - if you've never played a Paper Mario, you won't understand, don't even try, but Nintendo have pulled off a pure piece of gaming magic with this series. Involving, loads of adventure in it, self mocking humour no other company could ever dream of pulling off, an involving battlesystem, you have to be an active gamer, rather than just selecting stuff from a menu.

I have two RPG's that probably everyone know what they are. An from the Final Fantasy group I would have to say that number 7 is the most liked by me. I love the plot, the graphics are a little funny, but they make the game more interesting. Aeris dies an that is awesome. Tifa is more then meets the eye. So I don't think anyone that says she just has big breasts is really right in the department. She is so much more to me, and I follow her storyline a bunch. I love that anyone can summon in this game too. thje best thing about FF7 is probably the cities. they have their own little ghetto. I likve number 10 too, but it is not my favorite.

My second favorite is Castlevania. My favorite one out of all of them it Symphony of the night. I love play Alucard. I love the design an set up of the game. There is little or no BS. You just kill the boss, and I like that begining. The fact that most everyone know that phrase, "What is a man..." is just awesome to me. the demons are great too. I could have done with more nudity, but it is a game so I dont really care. I like being a wolf out of all of them, and my familiar is usually a bat. I have my bat maxed out every time I play this game. So maxed out that the numbers do not even make sense any more.

There aer a few other RPG's that I have been meaning to try. An that would be Silenthill. I have heard a lot of things about this RPG, and I think it is the kind of morbid game that I would love.

There is one RPG that I have notplayed since I was real young. An that is Resident Evil. I have been begging Scorp to get it for me Lol

Obviously Final Fantasy. I liked them all, but FFIX is my favorite of all time.I like the story plot.My favorite character of all time is in it, Vivi.And I just thought it was a great game.

Apart from that though, I like other RPG's like The Elder Scrolls series. Graphics are great and all.(Espicially Oblivion). I really liked Fable.I like the battle system and the option to become bad or evil.The only thing I hated was the loading screens though. And World of Warcraft, but overall FF is my favorite RPG of all time.

My favourite RPG of all time would have to be Final Fantasy VIII. I have no idea how many times I have said that now lol. It was the first Final Fantasy game I ever played so it will always have a special place in my heart. I just really enjoyed the game overall and never hardly got sick of it. I loved all the characters (except Irvine) and I loved the storyline involved. I just loved everything about it. I still enjoy playing it to this day.

So many rpgs have come and gone in my life but at the end of it all, there is still one that beckons for me to continue playing it and I never grow tire of it and that is Chrono Trigger. There was just something about it's time traveling story, characters and fun battle system plus multiple endings.

Final Fantasy VI and VIII though rank a close second as both are tied up.

Other favorites are World of Warcraft, Xenogears, Shadow Hearts Covenant, Final Fantasy Tactics and Earthbound.
