PS2 Magazines...

If any of you have heard of a UK based PS2 magazine called PSM2, its the one I get monthly, it offers honest good reviews, and usually the magazine itself is really fun to read as the magazine team have a really good sense of humour when it comes to ripping off games and stuff like that.

Soooo which PS2 magazines do you get? and why?

I collect PSM the independent magazine becuase the official mag leaves a lot to be desired. I also collect EGM which is not a PS mag per se but they do give over a lot of their page space to PS games and articles. I like the PSM team the best though because the are not afraid to tell it like it is from a gamer's perspective versus what everyone want's you to hear. They also have a Knack for presenting the pros and cons of things and expressing their opinion as well as accepting the fact that people may not always agree with what they have to say.

I only collect PSM2 including the odd Xbox magazine. Its rare I get a mag nowadays. Though the free demo discs provide reviews and game saves thats really the main reason I buy em. But the upcoming games page and games like FF reviews I really enjoy

I used to get PowerStation. Hehe. Oh the memories. It started out for PSX and moved onto PS2 games. I used to get it every month (?) Fat Andy and Mouthy Mark collumns were amazing.

I don't get magazines anymore, though. If I find a game I want, I buy it, or get a friend to give me their old games -- of course, in exchange for money or one of my games. I usually look on GAMESFAQ if I want cheats or guides.

OPS2 Is my main one, I buy other ones every once in a while but OPS2 is constant. It's an official one yes, but it isn't biased it badly ranks Sony games as much as others, and it's written by people who know there stuff and genuinely enjoy it, PLUS PLayable demo. Only bad fact they unveil facts very slowly indeed, even if the people already know it.
