Im excitited for zelda twighlight princess whcih was announced to be coming out for the wii and the gamecube

When did they make that announcement?
Can they do that?
People already had it reserved, they can't change consoles, that's like forcing everyone to get the Wii.
No offense to you if you were excited or anything, it's just I have it reserved and I wasn't going to get the Wii right away, and this sort of forces me to get it.

zelda is a really good game
i wish some of the zelda games would be on ps2 -which in my opinion is the best console-

Yeah, except that the Legend of Zelda games are FIRST-PARTY Nintendo titles, and would therefore never be seen on another console unless Nintendo goes under and becomes a software developer like Sega did.

I want to play it. Maybe when I have money to buy it. Or I'll ask for it for Christmas, or something. Although I should have money for it by the time it comes out... The wolf morph looks pretty cool. Although this one looks to be a really dark game... hence the "Twilight" Princess name, I suppose... la la la...

It will have Wii-exclusive features, like being able to shoot the bow or go fishing with the Wiistick. It will still function perfectly normal on the Gamecube, but you won't have the interactivity.

It's also confirmed the Wii vesion will support Widescreen.

When is that game going to be released? My Gamecube is getting dusty and its still there on my room because of Zelda. I just hope its good because I have been waiting so long for that game, since they showed a glimpse of what could be a couple of years ago. But I would definitely buy it for the Gamecube since for now I don't plan to buy the Wii.

This is another game that I had been waiting for, oh, too long!.
How long have we be waiting?, at least two years?
I was very excited when it was announced on E3 that it will be for the Wii, as well, but, now, I'm not so sure, it's just that the wii control seem so remote to me (haha, no pun intended).

There's no release date specified yet.

All we know is that the game will be released simultaneously for both the Wii and the Gamecube on the day the Wii will be released. The Wii version will only differ from the Gamecube in that you can use the Wiimote to control Link and the entire game as well as support for wide screen.

I had a copy of Twilight Princess reserved since july of last YEAR i was looking forward in november to play it but i guess it's a good idea to have it for the Wii but i still think they could let the gamecube version out sooner.

Well I personally think Ocarina of Time is the only good Zelda, the others are plain crap, the original NES version was good but not amazing or anything, Majoras Mask was plain hard and annoying, Zelda II...well its garbage, Wind Waker was actually good so im hoping that Twilight Princess will be better than previous Zelda games.
