Fable 2. Will there be an improvement?

Yes! Its true! Fable 2 has finally been mentioned! I have checked out the trailer and it looks great! Check it out here:

http://uk.media.xbox360.ign.com/medi...61/vids_1.html

Fable fans and haters are expecting improvements. But what exactly would you like in the 360 game?

I would like a lot more customisation to my character. Longer hairstyles and a lot more face changes. Yup, I think lionhead studios was saving the best of their abilities for this game as it looks a lot more better than Fable. There is no release date yett but hopefully soon we shall get one

I wish that Fable 2 would be released for Xbox. I know that I will never get a 360 until a few years time and its a shame coz I miss out on great games such as Fable 2 and ES4: Oblivion.

Things I would like to see in Fable 2 improved upon from the original.

How about a more intriguing storyline? That would be damn nice.

How about a more difficult and skill-based fighting system? Combos, button combinations for special moves, more difficult enemies? All of that would be a huge improvement.

How about a better range of weaponry? So that I'm not spending the entire game sticking with a longsword because it's the best weapon I can get without being painstankingly slow. How about more situational weapons? X type of enemy takes X type of weapon, where as Y type of enemy takes Y type of weapon?

How about a longer gameplay experience? I'd like to complete the game sometime next month, not after a weekend of playing it.

How about not seeing my character turning gray 15 hours into the game? Yeah, I liked being young, thanks. I loved how I was older than my mom by the time I found her.

How about a better dark and light system? And make it a LOT harder to switch from dark back to light, and vice versa? When you pick a side, you should keep going down it.

How about some special rewards for being dark or light? IE, Dark Knight vs Paladin. The ability to do some "white magic" or some "black magic" depending on which side you go an dhow deep into that side you are?

How about destroying the ability to learn every single level up in the game? Pick a class type and go with it. If you're a warrior, you shouldn't be able to pick up magical ups (to an extent), and so forth. Let's look at KH, you have to pick one and lose one. Pick sword, defense, or magic, and then let go of one of the two choices you didn't pick.

This and many more things would make Fable 2 a HUGE improvement over the original, which, IMO, was a large crock of over-hyped bullshit.

I hafta admit. Over rated. I enjoyed Fable for like 2 hours then it got boring. They were capable of soo much more! But luckily if Fable 2 is bad and they decide to make a Fable 3 I can tell Lionhead studios when myself and everyone thinks! Yup! Lionhead studios is down the road from where I live so I can do work experience there in a year! Whoop!

Some might say its too much to ask but it isnt. The only enjoyable thing about Fable was the graphics. THEY were good. But just imagine how good it would be with all the improvements!

Another thing to add to the list is choosing what to say in a conversation with people. It would make long and boring talks more intriguing and it could affect your renown and holiness thing (thats if they still have it and i hope they do!).

Yup, they should pull their fingers out their a*se and put loadsa effort into this considering its for the 360!

Peter Molynuex (sp?) made a public apology for Fable a week or so after it was released.

"This is going to be the best game. EVER!"

"Oops. My bad. It's really not."

While I really enjoyed Fable (still do) there were some big problems with it.

First off was that when advertised it was shown that the actions you take decide what storyline you take while the good/bad actions you make only change how people act towards you. Also it was insanely easy to switch back and fourth. You could be as evil as it gets, but defeat jack the first time and destroy the sword you go back to good in a snap.

Second beef for me was the weaponry and items. I can't think of one single other game where the best weapon is one you get by simply walking into a store and pick it off the rack. Skorms bow was tricky to get if you didn't know what to do, but even then there wasn't ANY skill involved in getting them.

The one thing I liked but could be made a little less effortless would be the transport system. You could travel nearly ANYWHERE in the game at any instant without cooldowns to worry about, basically just traveling wherever tickles your fancy.

I don't have a 360, nor do I intend to buy one for a few years but I will rent one to give this game a chance. It's not like I'll need to have it for more than a few days to get this game done
