Chrono Trigger

Chrono Trigger, I believe is one of Square-Enix great games. For such an old game, it's still so great even to this day. The storyline is so FREAKING amazing. The battle system isn't to bad it self. I bought it with the Final Fantasy Chronicles, and played it for a week straight. Didn't leave my house, tryed my hardest to skip school. Every thought I had was about the game. Wow, I just noticed how obsesive I got over that game. What do you guys think about the game it self.

Chrono cross was the first real RPG I ever played.

It holds a very special place in my heart =)

The battle system is much smoother on the snes.. on the chronicals version out of battle --> battle is a pretty slow transition.

Chrono Trigger is a really cool game so far, I haven't played all of it though. It has a nice storyline and a cool cast of characters. The battle system is completely different to FF which makes it even better. I like how it works. The soundtrack in it is also great. I like it a lot!

My friend has Chrono Trigger, and I've watched him play the game before and I must say that it's awesome. I didn't watch enough of it to know everything that's going on but I got the general concept of it. Plus the characters just look interesting so I'd have to say that overall it looks to be a great game that I'll have to pick up sometime.

I must say I love Chrono Trigger, it was the second RPG after FF4 that i played. As with FF4 I played it and beat it every week for about half a year. I just love the story and the characters. The multiple endings were an amazing concept especially for the Super Nintendo at the time. When it came out with FF4 I believed that it was the greatest compilation that could ever be recreated. The sound track was amazing I've made numerous CD's devoted to just Chrono Trigger and I always love just listening to the music.

Chrono Trigger is easily my favourite game of all time. Everything about it is just...perfect. It definitely had an innovative battle system, with the concept of doing team attacks. The graphical smoothness was incredible, the sound was incredible, and as mentioned earlier, the story is incredible. One of the things I love about it is how there are multiple endings to the game (mind you, I usually do the same one for some reason).

If there was ever a perfect game, I'd have to say that Chrono Trigger is it.

You got Noubou Uematsu, Hironubu Sakaguchi, and the creator of Dragon Ball Z Akira Toryama. When you put this triple threat together you get great music,Great RPG, and great animation. Chrono Trigger is the best SNES and NES title square had made and I mean better than the original Final Fantasy's.
There needs to be a sequel dammit.

I loved this game but find it overrated to the sense of people refering to it as "the best RPG". While I find it above average, it stands as Number 8 on my top 10 RPG list with Chrono Cross at Number 7.

Ive never played Chrono Trigger, but I loved Chrono Cross. I've been looking for the game though but no one sells the Nintendo version anymore or FF Chronicles

I don't know if this is good or bad, but they are making a remake of Chrono Trigger. It's supposibly supposed to be the same game with upgraded graphics and everything. It kinda scares me, becuase I don't want them destroying such a beatiful, priceless game.

There is, it's called Chrono Cross. It's about different people and stuff, but it's a sequel.

I'm gonna have to agree with you here..

Chrono cross was unbelievable.. IMO it was better than some of the FFs.

That game is pretty sick. But I never ended up finishing it.
