I would have to say Slippy and Peppy from Star Fox 64. I'm not sure about the original, but in 64 the were annoying as hell! They couldn't fight worth beans. I always ended up hearing Slippy in his squecky voice begging for help. Then he would always get in my way while I was chasing down an enemy and complain at me for it. Same goes for Peppy, and let's not forget the infamous, "Do a barrel roll!" Falco was the only one on that game that actually did his fricking job!!

That goddamn dog from Duck Hunt. Every time that ****er laughed at me I wanted to shoot him square in his little doggy balls. I've never felt such anger towards an animal before XD.

Hey! Look! Listen! *cringe* Some things are better left unsaid...Navi is one of them. I love the game to death but seriously, was she absolutely necessary? X-X Although it was kind of funny when she's flying to Link and flies into the wooden fence near his house. XD

The Duck Hunt dog also gets my vote. If he's so good why doesn't he shoot the damn ducks himself, huh? Then I can laugh at him when he misses.

Yuffie was pretty annoying too...if you want Materia that badly then go buy it yourself dammit! >O I thought it was pretty funny in Advent Children when Cait Sith yelled at her because she was being annoying. We weren't the only ones who didn't like her. XD

kid from spiderman 2? i would have never thought of him but still he is one annoying npc. But you have missed out the most annoying people of all like rikku, nooj, yuffie and seymour (sorry to all people who like them). There more annoying than that kid would ever be. Yeah sure he can't hold onto his balloon for more than three seconds but people like seymour who keep turning up to try and kill you or take someone, that just burns up inside of me.

It largely depends on what meaning You associate with the word annoying.
I could say this - the Shibito in Forbidden Siren were extremely annoying oponents. Like this:

Die! Die! Die! Die, You S.O.B's! Why don't You f***ing die?!

They are immortal and You can only knock them out for a while and it is quite annoying to find a Shibito into which You stuffed all of Your bullets standing again, laughing and howling and going after You.

Well the dog in Duck hunt did really annoy me, but Ashley from RE4. For crying out loud, the b*tch can't even kill anybody in the game or even use a gun to kill anybody. She always gets kidnapped and is like "HELP LEON! SAVE ME!" Sometimes I wish Claire or Jill was in this game instead of this helpless B*tch.

Well, of the above listed Xianghua was annoying to play against but awesome to use. Slippy Toad was definitely annoying, especially in Starfox 64. But Xianghua wins I think. I'm still kinda bitter after a buddy of mine beat me with her ><

But all of these guys don't even come close to being as annoying as that damn owl from Zelda Ocarina of Time. You know, you try to get out and move around on Hyrule Field for the first time and this stupid owl interrupts you! And he doesn't even talk to you like you know what you're doing, he talks to you like you're an idiot! He later tries to redeem himself by giving you a ride off the mountain....but I still didn't like him.

Bats from any game, they always manage to fly past and kill me, in Castlevania, the annoying bastards always hit me and I usually fall all the way down probably into more enemies. Grrr. Bats!
