i would say get the Xbox 360 just for perfect dark zero


but if u dont want to spend so much money get like a used PS2 or buy a gamecube which is like $100 and u can get a mario party 7 free.

If you're heavy into FPS, this will make it real simple:

Why? Call of Duty 2. Quake 4 (which includes a remake of Quake II). Perfect Dark Zero (sequel to the best N64 game). You can't go wrong with those titles. And if you have an HDTV and buy the fully fledged system rather than core system, the graphics will be on par with a PC with an upper scale video card. Of course the numero uno reason would be to donate to Microsoft, the true God amonst men.

Then again, if you're rich, you might as well shell out $6,000 for an Alienware rigged with an Athlon 64 X2 4800+, 2GB of DDR2 memory, and 2x 512MB Ge Force 7 GTX's in SLI mode.

If you're not going to buy a next-gen console, definately buy a PS2. Best library quality out of the three next-gens and can play ps1 games as well.

New games are constantly bringing the graphics to new levels and a lot of quality masterpieces have been bought out on PS2 specifically (Metal Gear Solid 3, Final Fantasy X, ect.).

Definately worth the money, though if your patience can hold up just a few more months, the PS3'll be the shark of the barrel.

In terms of durability PS2 is SEVERELY lacking... I have bought fu*king 4 of those damn things. You may ask why..??.. Because hands down PS2 has the best games by far... Gamecube is very durable, I have had mine for a very long time and it shows no signs of quiting. Though the games are different because it was made especialy for multi players I have to admit I love my GC. So if your still playing a Genesis (Which by the way is realy cool) I think you would do well with a Game Cube. But in my oppinion... Don't bother with an X-box... Because Bill Gates is a greedy son-of-a-bi*ch... And I think he has allready drained us all with Microsoft... *murmers profanity under her breath*
