has anyone here ever played runescape2 for those who dont play it its an online adventure game.

I've played Runescape (The first one) and I found it quite enjoyable besides the repetativeness and simplicity. The major plus is that it's FREE. I was unaware that they made a second one though... Care to post the link?

What're the big differences between the two? Anything at all?

Although, it's been about a year since I've played, maybe I'll take up this second one in my few boughts of spare time.

I don't think there is really a Runescape2, they just redid the old one to where it was all 3d, instead of 2d enemies and a few others things, like get rid of the need to sleep.

Other than that really, they're the same...

The cooking, fishing and mining features were totally the best! All my stats were low 'cept for my cooking level! It was at like 40 something haha... all I did was wear an aprin and cooking hat and sell cooked meat in town for 5 gold. I was known as 'Beardo the Chef'

Oh yeah! You can get beards in that game!!!

Get any weapon and got to the goblin hut just east of lumbridge (across the stone bridge from where you start). Nothing but lv 2 goblins and spiders there, and they will serve you well up to about lv 15-20.

There's no such thing as Runescape 2. About 2 years ago they redid the entire engine of Runesacpe. Same quests, same basic skills, only upgraded graphics, changed interface, and a few other rather nice tweaks.

After the overhaul of the game it became, easily, the best free MMORPG and the best Java based game out there, and that still stands today.

I've been playing it off and on for a little over 4 years now. Sean31 is my main character, check the highscores if you want, I'm a rather high level character.

Mkem111 (or Mkemm111, not sure) is my dad's account that, currently, belongs to me, since he stopped playing a very long time ago. Check the stats on that if you want.

I still like the game, and being that members only costs $5 a month it's still the cheapest MMORPG for the calbur of it. Once they upgraded the game, though, it got a lot less fun.

Why?

Because it was flooded with even more idiots. That and it's just too limited equipment wise. My main, Sean31, has the best of everything (or whatever the best was when I stopped playing a year ago, which would be full rune, dragon battle axe, dragon medallion, a few poisoned dragon daggers (<3 poison) full black dragon leather, magic bow, a few thousand rune arrows, and a dragon shield, as well as a dragon med)

I have all 3 halloween masks and about 8 santa hats, plus about 8million GP. Last I heard between my hats and masks I'm currently worth quite a bit.

My dad's combat stats were 88 87 88 88 and his overall was over 1400, he's also not played in over a year.

Best Equipment
Armor: Legends, or full dragon (chainmail, legs, med and sq shield).

Weapons: Aybissal Whip is weapon of choice for all higher level characters. Though the legends weapons are also considered to be better than dragon. And the crystal bow, while not really the best (magic short with rune arrows beats it hands down) doesn't require any supply of arrows to use.

Magic: High level Ancient magic is pretty unbeatable, lol.

Misc: God armors, Party hats and 'Robin hood' equipment are the more expensive items.

By 'dragon medallion' I assume you mean 'Amulet of Glory'?. Yeah, that's still the best one.

If anything I would say there was too much equipment. I'm having some real problems with my bank space and had to throw a lot of stuff out last time I was on.

And yes, I understand what you mean by there being idiots on RS. Though that said, they can be fun to toy with sometimes... lol.
