I think the first i ever played was AD&D Eye of the beholder, but such a long way back its all kinda blurry.

My first good rpg memory was FF3, when it originally came out on snes, i remember my mom just bought me a random game from christmas and it was that. With that little bit of luck i got started as a FF fan

I only got into RPG's a few years ago. The first one I played was FFVIII. I was addicted to it from start to finish. Since then I have been obsessed with all RPG's.

Super Mario RPG. We believe. Not sure, my memory span doesn't go too much farther back over a month unless it was important, which it usually isn't. But still, I loved the game, and I fell in love with it the first time I was taught how to played. And I got addicted. I think it was the first game I actually had much liking toward, and that's why now I love almost every RPG I can get my hands on, and I don't exactly like all the other genres.

probably either super mario rpg or that game for NES that was made by square before final fantasy... what was it again... something about knights.

The first one i remember was FFVII. i made a bet with my aunt and if i won she had to buy me a game. I won and I saw FFVII and didnt know what it was so I got it and fell in love with the game.

First rpg I saw was FF7 at a freinds house, the first one I played was FF8...at a freinds house

The first rpg I ever saw was Chrono Trigger for snes. I then played Chrono Trigger. After that I went back a little to Final Fantasy 1, which then started me in on the Final Fantasy series even though I wouldn't play another rpg for aboutsix years.

my first is a toss up between lengend of zelda (the original) and phantasy star III for the sega genesis (i don't even know if anyone else remembers it or not). all i can remember from phantasy star is that there was an android, and her first weapon was some kind of claw. and i hated when i died. that was the worst. the first one i played that wasn't a game was d&d. now i feel guilty for selling all my die.

Gods, I wish Final Fantasy could have been the first RPG I ever played, but I was born in the year it came out, so unless I was a super baby I had no chance. My first was probably Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening on Game Boy. The next one was probably Pokémon Red. I didn't start with Final Fantasy until I was 12, and that was VIII.

As for ORIGINAL RPGs (that is, pencil and paper, the dice rule all RPGs) I first played Paranoia, which was a little out of my league at 11 years old, then Advanced Dungeons & Dragons the year after before starting 3rd Edition D&D. Sigh... good times.

The first rpg I ever played or saw was Earthbound. My firend told me about the story and the characters, i was in first grade i believe when I saw it I had to get it so my brother took all the money we had saved and bought it, and I don't regret it at all.

Wizardy for NES. the game sucked completely and i never did know how to start the story. one time i managed to start a game by randomn button mashing and i walked first person through a maze. Entered a doorway, and battled an enemy which killed my characters in a series of turn based text battle.

The one I RIGHTLY remember would be FFX...before that, there was a 6 year lapse in my gaming history.

Adventure of Link & Battle of Olympus for the NES,I think we brought both games at the same time.After that it was a very long gap until I played on FF8 at a friends house & brought FF7 for myself.If there was any on the PS1 that I played before these I can't remember.

My first RPG?

Well, that has got to be a really tough question for me. Well, actually, the answer isn't too hard. Although I don't remember much before this one, I'm almost positive that Pokemon Blue version was my very first RPG. Every other game that I had before it on my SNES was either a side-scroller, or some form of racing or fighting game. In fact, now that I think back, I'm sure that Pokemon Blue was my first, since I hadn't the patience to actually play through an RPG until a little while after getting Blue.
