I didn't play the older Final Fantasies on the SNES, so I won't count them. My favorite game is the Lost Vikings. Man oh man the hours I have spent trying to beat levels in that game. If I go back and play Super Mario, I can beat it straight through. With the Lost Vikings, I am dying a few times before I get it right.

Chrono Trigger is well and truely one of the best. No doubt about that, but I have a big soft spot for Harvest Moon. Ah, so that is my favourite.

DONKEY KONG COUNTRY 1 AND 2!!!! Those are my all time favorite games on the SNES. I was a bit pissed at Donkey Kong Country 3. But anyways, Donkey Kong Country was the first game I get ever. And the SNES was the first console I have ever played. I was about 5 at the time and I remember going through the jungle and getting those bananas. Then in Donkey Kong Country 2, I remember that carnival level. That was pretty fun. The scenery was nice. I still wish I had my SNES though. It brings back a lot of memories.

My favorite SNES game is top hands down Final Fantasy 3 or 6 whichever you prefer.Then again i loved Act Raiser 1 it was awesome.

The ones I play the most are the Final Fantasy '2' and '3' (), Tales of Phantasia, Metroid, Mario World + All Stars, DK Country 1 + 2 (I didn't like 3 as much), and LoZ: A link to the past.

Not to say I don't like a million other games, but those are probably my most played.

With so many awesome AND replayable titles for the SNES it's kinda hard to pick a favorite as I have so many games that I like and still play for the SNES.

Earthbound, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Tecmo Super Bowl, Final Fantasy 2(4), Final Fantasy 3(6), Top Gear 3000, Populous, Genghis Khan 2: Clan of the Grey Wolf, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

These are all classic games with excellent replay value and I can't foresee ever gettin rid of the games.

So, here's a few of my all-time favourites in no order:

Chrono Trigger

When I started playing this game, I just couldn't stop, the story was so gripping and I felt I had to carry on just to know what would happen next, the gameplay is so retro-RPG and I love that. Fantastic cast of characters, great locations, and really good graphics for it's time, an extremely enjoyable game, I suggest if you haven't already played this, then you definitely should.

Final Fantasy VI (Known as FFIII in the US)

What can I say? This has to be one of the best Final Fantasy's in the entire series, an incredible story and easily one of the best in the series, the huge cast of character's definitely kept the game interesting, there's not much not to like about this game, it's simply amazing.


Super Mario World

How can this game not be on my list? With over 60 levels, it has to be one of the most enjoyable platformer's i've ever played, although frustrating at some parts, it's such a great game, and deserves to be in this list.

Donkey Kong Country

In all honesty, this game has to have the best visuals in the entire SNES library, when I first played this, I was literally blown away because I wasn't expecting a SNES game to look this visually stunning. Loads of levels to play with great platforming elements, and is a generally fun game.

Final Fantasy V

As usual, Final Fantasy V delivered a fantastic story that dragged me into the game so much, unique characters, a huge world to explore, not much else to say, except this is a great game.

Great system with one of the greatest lineups in gaming history...I can't put 'em in order, but these stand out as the best...

Chrono Trigger - Not just one of the best SNES games, but one of the best RPGs period. Great characters, intriguing storyline & perfectly simplistic gameplay. The DS version, surprisingly, managed to expand upon this awesome game of awesome games.

Final Fantasy VI - A great RPG & one of the series' best (alongside FFT for me). I enjoy how, like Dragon Quest IV, it starts out incredibly linear and then blows wide open and the world becomes yours to explore. Great characters in this one too. The storyline basically pans out to a long revenge quest against the game's main antagonist and the ideal of Hope being the true ultimate power.

Star Ocean - This is simply an awesome RPG. It stands at the top of the pile with CT & FFVI. I love the way character branches are implemented and the story is great...it's a shame how SO3 turned out, when I think about this one...

Seiken Densetsu III - My fav of the series. The only fault is in the annoying randomness of the final job class item drops & then, even more annoying, the randomness of the final equip item drops...V_V Everything else is far superior to Secret of Mana...characters with personality!?!

Super Metroid - I still prefer The Return of Samus, but this one really cemented all of the gameplay mechanics of Metroid that we all know & love. They should make more 2D Metroid games, dammit. Fusion & Zero Mission were great! Now remake Metroid 2!

Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers & Super Street Fighter II Turbo - I basically just like The New Challengers for introducing Cammy & Fei Long...Turbo I loved because I really enjoy playing the series on Turbo 2...fast is good!!!
