The first game I ever played was Tomb Raider III! I can remember it like it was yesterday... Slidding down that ramp, jumping over the spikes, finding the first secret, shooting monkey brains everywhere... taking months to work out what a switch was... lol...

Well, my brother was a gamer, so I would have to say one of his games would have to be the first one I've ever played, though I don't remember which one. Probably something like Azure Dreams or Final Fantasy VIII or something like that. I do remember, though, that the first game I ever owned was Super Mario Land II: Six Golden Coins for the GameBoy. I bought it with my first GameBoy. It was a fun game. I still own it, and still play it every now and then.

I think the first videogame I ever played was the first Sonic game. I'm not positive though, seeing as that was such a long time ago.
Sonic games are pretty fun, but now I prefer RPGs.

Megaman X. I've since played through it a roughly projected bajillion times.
I'm getting tired of asking people to add more content to their posts. Consider this a pre-warning since you're new. - Djinn Last edited by Djinn; 07-13-2008 at 01:30 AM. |

My first video game was a little platformer called Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. It was an excellent game, with many puzzles and levels. It had great replay value as getting 100% unlocked bonus levels for you to play. It was visually impressive as well. Released in 1998 (I think. Give or take a year), the FMV cutscenes were very similar in quality to FFVIII. And it had some killer tunes.

It was probably Snapper, a Pacman rip-off, for the BBC Micro (Model B), an ancient form of home computer with an integral keyboard that you could plug directly into a television or monitor. The actual computer programs ran off a cassette player, and later a floppy disk drive, because my mum broke the cassette player in frustration after losing at the aforementioned game, and by then you couldn't get them any more.
So I got a system upgrade. |

I remember that day very well. My mum told me to guess what we were going to buy and i guessed right. A Playstaion 1. It came with lots of games, 3 i recall, but that was lot back then for me. It cam with two games, Croc 2 and 40 winks. 40 winks was where these two children fall asleep and their winks get stolen by this evil guy. You could jump into different boxes and transform into different things. My dad thought it would be to scary for me cause there we giant spiders.
Thank you for bringing this up it has awakened memories in me. yay

Well, this is a hard one, I had a stack of video games the first time I picked them up (When I was about 3
) They were all for the Sega Genesis: Sonic 2 Sonic and Knuckles I remember watching my dad play Phantasy Star 2, then picking it up myself a short time later (like when I was 6...I sucked at that game) Skitchin Road Rash Cool Spot (The 7Up Video game. I still have my original cartridge for it too!) There were a couple of others too, but those are teh ones that I either played most or had the msot fun with. |

Super Mario Bros when I was 1. No I didn't do good. From what I'm told by my family, I just crawled up to the controller and started moving. (The game was just idle for some reason they said) Since then I've been a gamer...kinda ruined some parts of my life but hey, gotta have something bad in your life now eh?

My first game was Master Blaster, and back then that game was the shiznit. I'm not really sure exactly how it goes, I just remember something about a kid chasing a frog and it takes him to a whole new dimension. And my second game is one of the best, the original Zelda. Good times.
