Considering I don't play online games, I'll stick with my xbox and psx. They've yet to let me down and I can always play awsome games. I think I'm going to start buying older consoles like snes and nes rather than new ones that cost 500+bucks

i'll go nintendo as i've always done, seriously, i don¡'t own an xbox nor a ps2(i can afford four of each each month) and most probably will never buy them; and yes, I know i'm mising FFX-givememorenumber and FFXI and FFXII. But to that i have to say: **** you squenix for going away from nintendo. Now, they've confirmed their support to the Revolution, so we'll have to see if the new FFXIII will be sony exclusive

Most likely at this point PS3 and least likely Nintendo Revolution.
I haven't seen the hardware specs of Nintendo revolution, and concerning developer support things look a bit slim too at the moment. Well, we all know that Nintendo will make a Mario game and a Zelda game, but a little more info apart from that wouldn't be half bad. I might change my mind when I hear more about it, but at the moment there's no way I'm gonna pick revolution instead of one of the 2 others... I will probably get the Revolution later, but only if they manage to muster enough developer support. So I read the new CAD this morning and it was talking about the 360, and something about a "Core" system.
I looked into it. I love how you can only order the system for 599.90 with extra games and shit. But oh snaps, no hard drive! For 699.90 you can order the exact same system with a 20GB HDD. Wow. I didn't know a 20GB Hard Drive cost 100 bucks. Greedy much, Microsoft? If I even DO buy a 360 I want JUST THE SYSTEM and ONE GAME. I'll buy whatever else I want at a later date, but they're forcing you into paying more for crap games, at least one of which you won't like, most likely more than that. Greedy ****s. **** Microsoft, I doubt I'll even buy a 360, I ****ing hate the XBOX I already do have.

Yeah I read about that. Its absolute shite isnt it? Also, I heard that the 360 wont be backwards-compatible with older XBOX games unless you buy a hard drive to copy the games to, and even then only certain games will work. Microsoft are a bunch of arsebandits. Nintendo for the win. Sony for the close second. Microsoft for the furnace.

Zelda fanboy. Shouldn't be a surprise.
I play my GameCube more often than my PS2...I've played on my PC more often than my PS2. Apart from Final Fantasy X and my SSX Tricky...PS2 remains inactive in favor of the GameCube. I don't care what Nintendo has released (or what they haven't), I'm sticking to them. I care about Zelda way more than Final Fantasy, so the Revolution will have to come first. Not only Zelda, it's just that although my library of GameCube games looks limited, there is a lot of gaming in the collection. That is how Nintendo opperates, and that is how I like it. I might end up buying a PS3 at a later date if I can afford it. XBOX 360? Please...

IMO, there aren't many good games period nowadays...but of the 3 systems, Nintendo has the fewest "hit" titles. Note that since I've been broke for the past year, I haven't really bothered keeping tabs on the industry -much-, so please correct me if I'm wrong.
Once again, IMO: Nintendo has Zelda, Mario, and Resident Evil (And all past games??) Xbox has Halo, and...lol. PS3 has just about all RPGs and MGS. I think it's obvious that Sony has the biggest collection of titles right? Halo2 Multiplayer was, and still is, the best gaming experience ever created, period. I know I may get alotta flak for that, but no words can describe the feeling I get when playing Halo2 on XBL, a large part of that probably due to the fact that I am SO damned good  So, even though Microsoft can be supah evil, I shall go with them solely for hopes of future Halo3 XBL goodness. But I'll be GODDAMNED if I buy anything at all before reading reviews and forums Edit: I vote MS also because they're the underdog, and I'm tired of damned Japanese having games that we don't. Go with the americans!

PlayStation for me. I got hooked on PS2 4 years ago, so there's no way I'm gonna alter...it fits me best anyways, considering the large numbers and diversity of games it offers.
The Xbox seems like complete crap to me, just a flimsy piece of cardboard trying to make history because it's from Bill Gates. Well, it just isn't quality, ol' Billy Bob. Nintendo's cool, I started gaming with the ancient first version of it waaayy back when I was a wee las... If I had money I'd buy one of those too. But sorry...I have a grudge against the ol' Xbob. BOX. I said box. Okay I'll stop now. Xbox fans, I 'rspect thee.

I would love to have an Xbox, but unfortunately I live in a 170 square meter house so I don't really have room for it...
I am surprised by how few who picked the Xbox 360. With Sakaguchi making games for it I would have thought it to gather more of a following. |

Hmmmm Its a hard choice its either out of the PS3 or Nintendo. Square will release more games for the PS3 cos they aint the greatest buddies with nintendo but Nintendo have said that you are able to download the Nes and Snes games which is awsome + the Nintendo controller is amazing. Ummmmmmmmm i will probably go with the PS3 cos of the fact that Square willl be releasing more games on that system.

Xbox 360, Revoultion, then PS3. I'll get all three but It'll be time before I do it.
Xbox 360 isn't going to be a problem. Nintendo neither. Just PS3 is going to be released at the wrong time and they'll have to wait for my money. =P

Strengths and Weaknesses time.
Revolution Pros ------ -Back Catalog of all 1st party (and maybe 3rd) games from NES, SNES, and N64, with hints towards some games being modified for online use and better graphics. -Controler that promotes new ways to interact with games, as well as a simplistic approach to some genres allowing new people to pick up and play -Best 1st party games -Cheap price -Wifi right out of box Cons ----- -Some may feel alienated by the controller, thus losing potential customers. -Last to come out. We've seen it before and being the last system on the market/ released too late could ruin a system. -3rd party support might be limited. X-Box 360 Pros ---- -Best online community. Buy limited things for games, show off your dedications using points, free live membership (basic video chat, some MMORPGS) -Rareware and Bungie: Two titans that could potentialy be used to sell off the system. -1st system on the market. -Better Japanese 3rd party support (and 3rd party support in general) -Being released before the holidays -Annual price drops every year after release Cons ---- -Two prices might set people off. -History of X-Box might degrade sales -Recieved Beta kits two months late (recieved late august, when they were supposed to arrive mid june) thus making developers rush for release. Even then they aren't up to full power yet. Playstation 3 Pros ---- -Potential to be the strongest system on the market. I say this because we haven't seen any real playable footage. Also its been proven that its ultimate cell processor chip is used inefficantly as well as Its support of Blu-ray being shakey. -Backwards compatibility with playstation 1 and 2. -Huge 3rd party support Cons ---- - Ken Kutaragi: The leader of Sony doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. Claiming that the Playstation was never called a gaming system, then saying it is. Feels that people should pay extra and work extra hours to buy what he calls "an enthuaist system". I could go on but I rather not. -Playable footage. Nothing yet. Just fancy cinematics that are hailed to be in game but already proven by industrialists that they aren't. -Risk of high cost. The card that powers the PS3 has a $500 production cost, as well blu-ray means Sony better make this system worth while. -Backwards compatability works, but you have to use PS3 memory cards. That means all your perfect saves on a ps2 or 1 memory card won't work. -No interest shown in improving their situation in the online market. -Ugly as sin controller. I mean really. Who the F**k wants to hold something that I could only imagine would give someone the feeling of holding two d*cks in their hands? I don't want a elongated boomerang, I want something to hold on to. Ok so maybe I was harsh on the PS3 in the end, but if its supposed to be the best it can take a few beatings right? My views expressed to their fullest. Enjoy.
