Favorite Video Game Villian

Now this isn't just for a Final Fantasy, this goes for any video game. What's your favorite villian? I'd have to say that mine is Melfice from Grandia 2. The story behind how he became to be evil was awesome, and he would kill anyone and just not give a shit. Plus he tried to kill his own brother back at there home island, and that was a pretty powerful scene, plus the fight was amazing. Anyway, let's hear what you guys have to say!

My favorite is probably Ultros from FFVI or, no, definately Ultros.

I have to go with Sephiroth. He is just too cool and he has that wicked katana. Among all chars in ff7 (and other games too) he always has that aura of distinctiveness. I never experienced this in a game as much as I did with Sephi.

Hell, I don't know... there's lots of cool baddies out there. I guess my favorites are:

King K. Rool/Kaptain K. Rool/Dr. K. Rool (Donkey Kong Country series): He's a fat crocodile-esque Kremling who has commanded armies of crocodiles, pirates, rats, vultures, and all sorts of weird stuff. And all he wants is some of Donkey Kong's bananas. Is that too much to ask?

Kefka (FF6): He's a transvestite clown with the most awesome evil laugh EVER who's bent on becoming a god. What more do you need?

Kerrigan (StarCraft): I guess she's my #1 favorite evil person. I'm not gonna ruin anything for those unfortunate souls who have never had the chance to play this great game, but suffice to say that she's evil up the ass.

If anyone is interested, that's what melfice looks like from grandia 2. The horn on his head because he was possesed by the horns of valmar. Pretty damn awesome character if you ask me.

My two top favorites are Kefka (FF6) and Sephiroth (FF7). I love Kefka's wild personality and evil plots. He's just so funny! Sephiroth...well, I've already expanded on my reasons for loving him elswhere: to summarize, his past, his looks and his attitude. *

**Star Ocean: Till The End of Time SPOILERS**

I'm not sure right now as to who's my favorite villain, although it all seems to be gravitating toward Luther the Creator. I was playing the game for a couple of hours last night, and as it turned out our galaxy isn't anything more than a computer game which he invented. So, he infected the 'program' with all kinds of nasty critters called Executioners and Convictors so as to wipe the program out. Why is he doing it? Well, when characters inherent to the program become sentient to the point of actually be able to leave it, it turns into something of a security risk. He has to destroy us all, now. I'd call that pretty damn evil.

Besides this, my vote would go to Kefka as well. His motif was no less severe the enemy to Star Ocean, plus his character was priceless. "DESTROY! DESTROY! DESTROY!" Heh. What's not to like about this guy? Gawd, what a cutup. ^^

For me its a tossup between kerrigan(starcraft) and alex(golden sun:the lost ages) but i cant chose between them

I love most of the bad guys from the whole Metal Gear Solid series on the PS1 and PS2, as they are amazing, plus Hideo Kojima, the creator, gave them all such an intricate background, plus i think Nemesis from Resident Evil 3 and the film Resident Evil Apocalypse is also an amazin bad guy, seemingly indestrucable and relentlesly after you!

But of course how can i leave out Sephiroth! He is one of my favorite characters full stop, along with Cloud Strife, Solid Snake, Max Payne and Squall Leonheart.

Well all time I would like to think that it is Faust from The Legend of Dragoon. I just have the utmost respect for him. I ran into him like level 35 maybe 37 or something, close enough to beat the boss of the game. This son of a bitch killed me within 2 minutes. I mean Omega Weapon from FF VIII was harder then hell, but he could be exploited. Faust cannot. I had to save up like 20 grand to go buy 2 Legend Casque's(Helmet's) for 2 of my 3 characters and give the third one the Magic Guard item to use for 3 rounds, or 3 defenses against magic attacks.

Faust is so fast, he can cast like 3 to 4 spells in a row on you. One time he did 5 and killed me before I got a move off, I was so pissed...he's an old wizard, how is he moving so fast?

After I got the helmets it was still a challenging fight, the helmets reduced the magic damage by 1/2 which was at least tolerable. I eventually beat him, but he was damn tough, and that is why I appreciate it so much I guess.

I say Arthas from Warcraft III as the Lich King (Ner'zhul) COMPLETELY owns this, no contest whatsoever.

WARCRAFT SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

Spoiler: Prince Arthas ventures to destroy Mal' Ganis the dreadlord (devil looking dude), completely oblivious to the true force of the Burning Legion (a force of demons and eredar and the like from the Twisting Nether), and desiring power, draws Frostmourne, the Lich King's sword, from its place, killing his companion Mauradin with the shards that are released when the sword is drawn. Through Frostmourne, the Lich King (Ner'zhul) tells Arthas to kill Mal' Ganis, and with his newfound power he does so with ease. All of his men dead, many by his own hand, he is driven insane by the maddening voice of Frostmourne, and returns to Lordearon a Death Knight. He is given a hero's welcome, but he has come to take his thrown, and murders his father King Teranas by order of the blade. His kingdom falls, and he only reappears to tempt Illidain with his power. In the expansion pack (Frozen Throne) Arthas is called forth to the Frozen Throne where the Lich King's soul is frozen in a huge chunk of ice, bonded to the helmet. Arthas shatters the ice, and places the helmet on his head. And with this, the two are one.

I like sephiroth and metal sonic in sonic heros.

Sephiroth is my favorite character and villian. I love his story line and every thing else.

Metal sonic is really cool and he looks alsome in sonic heros. he even has his own movie.

How could you possibly forget?! lol. It's Bowser! All the hours I spent on Super Mario Brothers 3 to beat that guy, what an awesome game.

Sephy takes the cake, having played the game again. It's not that I like his attitude, but that he looks awesome.
