Favorite Video Game Villian

I'm gonna say , Kefka. Yeah sure he was as looney as a three dollar bill and we wasn't particularly hard to beat but I found him to be one of the most evil villians. Like when he poisoned Cyan's castle and just laughs it off while everyone around him dies. If fact whenever he killed anyone he just laughed. He was one evil fucker.

Other than that my favorite bad guys are those annoying reocurring ones like; Gilgamesh(FFV), Ultros(FFVI), Croco(SMRPG), Doppleganger and Shriek(Maximum Carnage), Ozzie, Flea and Slash(CT). Y'know the ones, they always have some new idea to bring you down but it always fails.

Yeah, everyone knows Sephiroth is the ulimate Villian, He pwns any video game villian anyone could ever think of.

Revolver Ocelot, hands down. He's so incredibly awesome, clever and just plain cool. He doesn't particularly shine in MGS1, so I won't touch it. MGS2, he's a badass. Sure he sinks the tanker and kills a ton of people, as well as sets off with the Metal Gear, but he's also involved with the Patriots and the Sons of Liberty.

Five words. Play Metal Gear Solid Three. That will explain Ocelot's awesomeness

Favorite baddy would definitely be....Kefka from final fantasy 6 because he is the most insane villian of all time, and he get to rule the world, he has a cult, He laughs, he mkaes soliders wipe off sand from his shoes and he wears a CAPE

OK so this isn't main villans I assume so I am going with my top couple baddies.

The Collective Unit of The Turks (FF VII) They had attitude, weaponry, among other things.

Sephiroth (FF VII) This guy didn't want to rule the world. He wanted to kill all people on it and merge with it. That is so totally bad @$$.

Sepher (FF VIII) Not really a bad guy just very misunderstood.

Galeon/ The Magic Emperor (Lunar Silver Star Story Complete) He wanted to bring gods back into the world because he thought men were to dumb to decide for themselves.

Balrog of Morgoth ( Lord of the Rings The Third Age) One bad mutha...

All them pesky rocket launchening Nazi's (Call of Duty Finest Hour) Them is sneaky lil buggers.

Eathen Raine/The First (BTVS Chaos Bleeds)

Tyrant (Resident Evil) again one bad mutha...

William Birkin (Resident Evil 2) this guy totally killed me so many times... gotta give props fer that.

Lance Vance (GTA Vice City) One cocky S.O.B.

well there are so many but i think my favorite Villian is Justice of Guilty Gear(PSX) another one i think is well i don't remember his name but it was the final boss of valkirie profile and well i have more villians that i like but they are so many so i gona let it here

For the sake of being original I'm gonna say Luca Blight from Suikoden 2. ^^

After seeing his mom get raped by bandits, and his dad (the king guy ) do nothing to stop them, he is emotionally scarred, and eventually it drives him insane. ^^ He ends up having Jowy (your ex-best friend that switches sides to try to create peace but just falls victim to the Rune O_o) poison his own blood, which the king drinks as a ritual to accept him as a general of Highland. So he kills his dad, abuses his sister and creates a war because... he's a blood thirsty war mongering insomniac bastard... What more could you want

I would have to agree with most of the opinions here that Sephiroth is just the best villian ever to grace the Video Game world. He had this aura about him, an aura of evilness, that you just could not help to love this guy even though he wanted to destroy all life and blend with the planet itself. There are many really cool villians out there but none match up to the One winged Angel.

Havn't you guys forgotten one very important and evil character? Shao Khan. Cheating little bastard was so hard in all the MK games.
Kefka was another evil one, he killed *SPOILER* General Leo, who could have been a bad ass character. Not to mention the sick way he would drain the espers of their powers..Not even Sephiroth was as evil as him.
Bison from Super SF2 was a cool boss too.

My favorite villains, definetly Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII, hes ovbiously one of the best villains in my opinion, plus he looks like one too and Kefka from Final Fantasy VI, I just like his evil laugh, plus he poison the rivers and killed many people too.

Shao Khan, lol. I completely forgot about that guy! And with his stupid catch phrases like "don't make me laugh" and... well that's all I can remember him saying, but he was definitaly hard to beat.

I'd have to go with Melfice from Grandia II or Kefka from Final Fantasy VI. I almost forgot about Melfice, but now that I think about it, he's pretty awesome. Kefka is just plain cool man. He's a muther****ing psycho clown, how badass is that?
