Prologue I've chosen bosses from FFI through FFIX to face off against each other in a battle over who'd beat who in that genre. Side Notes Most bosses use spells/abilties in their final form which are unique to them only. I.e, Exdeath can use "Almagest" but only in his final form where he realizes he has the ability to cast it. This doesn't mean he can't cast it while in his "Ultimate" form which would be the tree version in the Cleft Dimension. It is my belief that in Exdeaths ultmate form that he has mastered the Void, and most every spell known. He's even created a few spells of his own, hence Almagest and Grand Cross. Battle Information Chaos vs. Zeromus - Battle of who's the evilest, most demonic. Cloud of Darkness vs. Exdeath - Battle over the Void. Emperor vs. Kuja - Battle over Power. Kefka vs Sephiroth - Battle over who's Strongest... Battle Outcomes Battle One - Introduction This battle consists of Chaos, the demon who made a pact with the four elemental fiends to create a time paradox where he can therefor live forever, theoretically. Zeromus is the manifestion of pure hatred of Lunarian, Zemus. Zemus has a strong hatred for the human population on Earth and wishes to repopulate it with Lunarians. To do this, he must awaken the Lunarians. Zemus in my mind isn't evil persay, he's just very strong willed and stubborn. He'll do anything to repopulate the planet with Lunarians, even control others to do his deeds. Zemus is defeated by two Lunarians known as FoSuYa and Golbez but his hatred manifested and lives on... Zeromus in this battle against Chaos is already affected by the "Crystal" so that he's not invulnerable to attacks. Chaos vs Zeromus This battle starts off by Chaos casting Blaze on Zeromus causing high damage to him. Zeromus uses Virus(Bio) on Chaos which does moderate damage. Chaos uses Tsunami on Zeromus which does high amounts of damage. Zeromus uses Big Bang while Chaos counters with an Earth Quake which ends up being a crippleing blow to Zeromus. Chaos and Zeromus are both weakned by their attacks to one an another. Zeromus casts Black Hole which renders Chaos almost harmless because Chaos derives from the four elemental fiends making him an elemental demon. Chaos attempts to cast Firaga on Zeromus but fails, instead he rushes at Zeromus in a physical attack of some sort. Zeromus' aura booms consuming Chaos with pure hatred. Zeromus consumes Chaos. Battle Two - Introduction The Cloud of Darkness is in her perfect state of being, not her weakened state by the Warriors of Dark. Exdeath is in his Tree form where he can fully use the Void and not weakened by the Warriors of Dawn. The party in FFIII can't affect the Cloud of Darkness in her unweakened stage, that doesn't mean that Exdeath can't though. Bad Breath and Grand Cross monster spells which cause a lot of status alignments. Almagest is (in my mind) is an anciant spell created by Enou within the depths of the Void. It is a powerful "Holy" spell, who'd of figured that it was made in the Void, or even that Enou and Exdeath uses it. Talk about irony. @_@ Both villains wish to either return the world to a state of nothingness or use the Void to consume the world. The Cloud of Darkness seems to be collective rather than an entity, hence when she says "We shall devour your light, and use it to return this world to the Void!". She apparently has the ability to control the Void enough to bring the world to nothingness (which in my mind is a reference to consuming the world into Void). It is my belief that the only reason that Exdeath was ever truly consumed by the Void was because of the "Warriors of Dawn". Exdeath showed that he could control the Void and mastered it by sending many parts of the world into it, slowly engulfing the world into the Void. (Cloud of Darkness would be proud ). The Warriors of Dawn in my opinion put pressure on Exdeaths concentration over the Void, he tried to overuse his control on the Void to regain control but was consumed by it. Much like stripping a screw, if you try to forcefully untighten a tight screw to much, it will strip. Cloud of Darkness vs Exdeath Cloud of Darkness starts off by using Flare Wave which damages Exdeath. Exdeath counters by sending the the Cloud of Darkness to the Void which he believes consumes her. Little does he know that the Cloud of Darkness resides within the Void so she returns and casts Bad Breath on Exdeath which has no effect. Exdeath infuriated by the fact that his power over the Void has no affect on the Dark Cloud, uses Grand Cross which ultimately has no affect on the Cloud of Darkness either. The Cloud of Darkness uses Particle Beam which does high amounts of damage to Exdeath. Exdeath even more infuriated by his spells having no affect and her retaliating as if nothing even happened uses a spell known as Almagest. Almagest literally destroys the Cloud of Darkness because of it's Holy attribute. The Cloud of Darkness retaliates by using "Scratch" which doesn't affect Exdeath (She's to weak to cast any major spell at this point). Exdeath laughs and casts Grand Cross confidently again and it has affect on her. One of the status alignments put on her is Confusion. The Dark Cloud kills her self in confusion thus ending the battle. I've never truly beat FFVII or played any of the ascending Final Fantasy's so I feel it's not really my place to have a battle against some of the main antagonists of those games. If any of you readers would like to have a go at them, go on ahead and right it out. Before you write these battles out, make sure you write them with a non-bias state of mind. Also make sure you've actually beat that game the boss takes place in. Last edited by Zeemis; 05-17-2009 at 01:30 PM.. | ||||||||||||||

| I wonder...was this done in your mind, or using a system to randomize the attacks? It's pretty bizarre to have Cloud of Darkness essentially killing herself when you pretty much stated that she was in her "perfect" state, and it seems a bit stupid that she self-kills with Confusion. If she was "unharmed", the first hit should have knocked her off Confusion. Also, eliminating any kind of random choice of attacks...don't you think that the villains will go straight to their special moves? As in, Cloud of Darkness would use Particle Beam straight from the start? And Zeromus would literally spam Big Bang? Also, Ultimecia is missing. So does Jecht (or Yu Yevon, whichever rocks your boat). And Vayne. And probably Promathia, although the Shadow Lord is fine too. FFX to FFXII are valid choices too, even though they aren't too "old-school" (and even then, the term is debatable; Old School for me is anything SNES/Genesis and behind) Finally, you can't ever expect a choice to be biased, ESPECIALLY ON FFVI/FFVII! That's pretty much invoking passions. Allow me to explain: Kefka has several forms in-game. First is his main form (his deluded human form), which increases in magical power almost exponentially. But, in this case, he's almost a joke (almost, since he was an Imperial Officer and wielded a nasty flail) Once he gains the power of the Warring Triad, he gains several new forms: his humanoid form by itself is powerful (and I believe a better choice for combat), his Devil form, his combined Man, Tiger and Machine forms, the Rest and Lady forms, and then his ultimate form as the Angel of Death. In total, considering each form as the progression of the battle goes, he has around 4 stages, and 8 forms total. Seph has only 3 forms, though you can stretch four: his normal genetically enhanced form, Bizarro, and Safer. The battle against Sephiroth once Safer is destroyed is essentially a mental manifestation of him in Cloud's mind, and you could squeeze the Kingdom Hearts/Advent Children form as a "One-Winged Angel" form. So in total, 3 or possible four. From that, you get the point: Kefka begins using ever stronger magic, Sephiroth pretty much slices him in half. Kefka shows his Warring Triad skills, turns into Devil, and beats the crud outta Sephiroth with his myriad of skills. Sephy draws from Lifestream, becomes Bizarro, and probably commands all of his body parts to attack Devil; hence, it's Bizarro and all of it's forms against Man, Tiger and Machine (multi-part vs. multi-part) Bizarro is rather slow, so probably they both waste each other. Safer faces Rest and Lady, and that form is rather weak, so it's probably Safer Sephiroth vs. Kefka the Angel of Death. Each goes and uses THE VERY SAME MOVE (Heartless Angel), and tired of how it goes, both go nova at the same time! (Nova= they unleash their most powerful move) So, it's either Kefka fries Safer with Forsaken, or Safer nukes Kefka with Supernova. Your choice. Anyone's choice, really. And here is where passions will go in: which is better, Forsaken or Supernova? I'll refrain from answering, but the point is, this point alone will probably induce some bias. Final point: Forsaken, as apparently stated, is NOT the Light of Judgment. It's more of a theatrical move pulled by Kefka. You can't really draw from Dissidia, but if you use it as point of reference, Forsaken is actually LoJ lite. At full power, it may be just as powerful as Particle Beam, and probably just as fast. Meanwhile, you have Sephy using a move that should theoretically destroy the solar system, but in the end the entire Planet survives. Forsaken and Supernova are insanely slow, boring enough to have any of the two actually beat each other with other moves instead of this. And both of the moves are at reduced power. With all of the factors established, it's mostly a matter of who wins initiative, or which move is pulled faster. And yeah, I am biased against Sephiroth, if only because people exaggerate his power. I could be biased towards Kefka for exaggerating his, but I recognize Zeromus or Exdeath would give Kefka a run for his money, and Ultimecia would simply kill him before he was even born or something. And no matter what, everyone is better than Necron or Yu Yevon; not even Dissidia respects them! | ||||||||||||

| Don't bash it till you've tried it | People may exagerate Sephiroths power but i think that supernova if it actually worked like it does in the long as video would kill kefka....but all he has to do is turn off the music on sephiroth and hes screwed considering its only cast at certain points in the song......a low blow for the win | ||||||||
