[Momo Mastermind]

So my boyfriend is on a Jem messageboard and they have contests every once in a while and I thought it would be cool for the entire FF board to participate in a contect.

I've decided to start one; hosted by me [and I'll need a few other people to be judges. I don't think I'll want to be a judge because I would like to participate.]

Well, here's my idea. It's going to be an artistic contest of sorts, a design contest. The -first- one will be to design your very own final boss for a Final Fantasy game. They can look like anything and have as many forms as you wish, just make it interesting. A back story is welcome but not needed [and please make it short, like one paragraph, so the judges don't have to read a HUGE story to rate it.] You can use any type of media you would wish, drawing it, painting, using photoshop- anything. The final product will not be graded on how well it was drawn [although that will be a plus] or how well the photoshopping was, but how interesting the *idea* is, and how well it was presented.

I'll need participants AND judges, so everyone post your ideas here and say whether or not you would like to participate or judge.

The judging process will work like this:

Judges can't participate in the actual contest. The Judges will pick te finalists, but not the actual winner. The number of finalists will depend immediately on how many people participate. If 20 people send their images in, then I'm thinking there should be around 8 finalists. The finalists will be displayed on a thread, to where a poll will be open for people to vote on the one they like the most. Also, on this thread you can explain why you chose the one you did.

Anyway, everyone please give me your input and what you would like to do in this contest. I'm thinking that the next one will be to create a summon/GF/Esper of your own.

This sounds like a good idea. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out. I'd prefer being a judge though. Is there any requirements to be one though? Do have to have a certain quality or something?

I would like to participate, but i have horribly bad drawing skills and no game with photoshop, but i would like to be a judge though,even though i dont completely understand, but it sounds like fun. Are the judge allowed to vote in the finals?

Yes, the judges, the participants, and just anyone who wasn't involved with the competition, in the final round, will be allowed to vote.

The judges are the ones who choose who makes it on to the final round.

Hmmn, well I guess whoever wants to participate in the competition, begin working on your final boss. How about the due-date for it will be.... hmmn, Friday February 29th!!!

Lmfao, there's been very few people who seemed interested and nobody has really contacted me back with any high hopes of this getting launched. I really think it's a cool idea, but I wish some people helped me get it all together
