Battle of the Espers-VI vs. XII

Well I've been wondering for a while if there ever was a title or a match to crown the best espers in FF with FFVI's espers teamed up against FFXII's espers who would win?

Lets see in my opinion VI's espers would win hands down. Sure, they probably don't look strong because of XII's espers appearances but FFVI can take out all thirteen of them. There's a lot more espers and Bahumut can easily take out Mateus and Belias with one strike. And Zodiark is nothing compared to Alexander or other FFVI's espers. Go FFVI!

I have never played FFVI but if they have Alexander then they are pretty much god but on the other hand FFXII Has Ultima Which i like but I want to vote after i see all the espers in FFVI first.

I've decided. The winner is....FFVI cause they have phoenix, Bahumut and odin. Espers look nice in FFXII but they propbly don't have as much power as these one's do. I pick FFVI.

i haven't liked the espers so far in FFXII and I know that FFVI has more. I've also seen some pictures of the espers from VI and they look badass.

VI no question about it, in realistic terms: could you imagine if you were in a fight with somebody and they were pounding you, but you had to wait til a certain condition was met before you could even do anything?

but seriously though, crusader, bahamut, alexander, odin, they wouldnt even stand a chance.

Wow, an old thread.. again. Let's see, I'm not too keen on the Espers so far in Final Fantasy XII either, they aren't as cool in my opinion, or as useful. VI's Espers were great, there were a heap of them and most of them were very useful in battle. Everything about them is cool! Just look at that list, they all are awesome in their own unique ways. I am going to say VI's Espers would win overall if they were in a battle, I believe they would kick some ass.

No contest. FFVI's espers were useful.
FFXII's were mostly just to show off pretty effects on screen...
And regardless of the special effects FFXII used, those of FFVI are still a lot more memorable to me.

FFVI's, for reasons previously stated. Actually, I think I'll add a bit more to this; VI's espers were a major plot point. They also unleashed devastating damage. XII's did neither of these. Go FFVI!

Although XII had Zeromus and Adrammelech(2 pretty cool espers), I'd have to say VI. I mean seriously, Bahamut, Odin, Shiva, Ifrit are like Iconic of Final Fantasy Summoning.
