Favorite Final Fantasy

Out of all of the Final Fantasy games, which is your favorite?

I would have to say that Final Fantasy VIII is my favorite Final Fantasy. It is the first FF that I bought, and I have loved the series since. When I first turned on the game, and heard the opening score, I was hooked. I was drawn in by the story and the realistic characters. I still play it constantly, and I always try to find new things to do. I thought that the dream sequences with Laguna were an excellent way to break up the story. I found myself trying to figure out what was going to happen next in the story, and not sleeping due to it. The twists in the story were great.

Spoiler: My favorite was when Cid told Squall and co. that Edea was his wife!

Final Fantasy VII was a close second for me, but this is by far, my favorite FF.

Same for me headbanger59 FF Vlll was the first FF game that i ever bout and it drawed me in to the whole series, but its not my fav. its a really good game i just dont play it often but my fav. would have to be FF Vll for it by far has the best storyline and FF lX because Vivi is my fav. caharacter out of all the FF series

Ive answered this 1 million times but oh well, its between FFVIII and FFX. FFX was my first Final Fantasy so thats pretty much self-explanitory on why i like it so much. FFVIII was ****ING incredible. It was a giant improvement over FFVII. That game rocked.

Final Fantasy VIII. Duh. It is by far my favourite of the series. From the exquisite soundtrack, to the wonderful characters, to the intricate plot line, it was just a joy to play. I'd say more but...Why I love this game.

Final Fantasy VIII is my favourite Final Fantasy game as well. It was the first Final Fasntasy game I had ever played so it has a special place in my heart. I was planning on getting VII first but I couldn't find it anywhere. I had played the demo for VIII and thought it was alright, I had no idea what it was about though lol. It seemed confusing and different to the games I had played before. I saw VIII at the game store I went to and decided on buying it. Mum asked me if I was sure I wanted it and I said yeah, it should be all good.

I got home and started playing it straight away and I was hooked! I was having a blast. I was so glad I got VIII first because it's such a wonderful game in my opinion. The storyline is great and so are the cast of characters. I enjoyed it all the way through and never really got bored. I still love playing it now, it brings back precious memories.
