The Most Mysterious/Strangest character from any Final Fantasy.
Now, I just would love to hear opinions -> mine is Vincent(FF VII) cause there hasn't been told anything about his past.

I thought they already had a thread like this... Well guess I was wrong.
The most mysterious character... Shadow, why you ask, because assasins are always mysterious. Oh yeah, there has been stories told about Vincents past, if you remember he talks about his past with Lecrecia quite often in the game.

Shadow certainly, even with flashbacks theres a load you don't know about him, and never find out either.
Honourable mention goes to Puck and Sir Fratley, sure you know who they are. But there past actions, or anything of the sort are huge gaping plot holes, which I'd personally like to know about. |

Shadow's past is explained. He's not that mysterious or strange.
Gogo. Who the hell is Gogo? What's he do? Where's he from? Why does he live in a cave in the middle of nowhere? And is he really a "he"? (Most of the Adlai Stevenson "quotes" used by the kid trying to prove Gogo was him were found to be false, by the way."

I say the most mysterious or strange FF character would have to be Pain from X-2. I mean you find out somethings but I guess you can't realy put together the puzzle of her past.

I think Paine, Vincent, and Freya seemed mysterious to me. You find out some things about their past, but not everything as Emperor Ultima said.

How about any of the main characters from Final Fantasy I? Sure they are warriors of light but what does that mean? Are they Rainbow Brites Cousins? Or perhaps they are the understudies of Captain Planet? Also there are always four of them which could mean that they know the Beatles or the Ninja Turtles, yet any way you look at it they are mysterious.

My thoughts on the wiedest character in the final fantasy series is Quinn I think it was the only character that was called he/she. I maybe wrong but that what I thought but then again that think was just pure wiered
